š A BIG ROTARY HONOR FOR OUR OWN RICH COURSON!
The Rotary Club of Ala Moana is incredibly proud to celebrate our Foundation Chair, Rich Courson, who was recognized last night at the HawaiŹ»i Rotary District 5000 District Conference with The Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service.
This is a big deal in the Rotary world. The Citation for Meritorious Service recognizes Rotarians who have demonstrated outstanding active service to The Rotary Foundationāand only one Rotarian from a district may be nominated for this recognition each year. That makes Rich's recognition especially meaningful.
For Rich, this honor reflects years of time, energy, leadership, and passion devoted to advancing the work of The Rotary Foundation. As RCAM's Foundation Chair, he has worked to help our members better understand TRF, why it matters, and how our collective support translates into meaningful impact here at home and around the world.
It's also a proud moment for RCAM.
Our club has a long history of supporting The Rotary Foundation through our members' generosity, participation in Foundation programs, and commitment to putting Service Above Self into action. To have our own Foundation Chair receive this distinguished recognition speaks not only to Rich's individual dedication, but also to the culture of Foundation support that RCAM continues to foster.
One district. One nominee each year. And this year, that Rotarian is our own Rich Courson. š
