A special moment for Aloha Festivals at today’s Hawaiʻi Tourism Legacy Awards. 🌺

Presented at this year's Hawaiʻi Tourism Conference, the Tourism Legacy Awards honor individuals and organizations whose enduring contributions have strengthened Hawaiʻi’s communities, advanced mālama for place and carried forward the values that define our islands.

This year, Aloha Festivals was honored as a Tourism Legacy Award recipient for Oʻahu, recognizing 80 years of celebrating and perpetuating Hawaiian culture, traditions and aloha.

We are honored to be recognized alongside six other remarkable awardees whose leadership, service and stewardship continue to shape Hawaiʻi and inspire the generations to come.

Mahalo to the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority for this meaningful recognition and for celebrating those who continue to honor Hawaiʻi’s past while helping carry its legacy forward.

Tomorrow, the 78th Floral Parade returns to Waikīkī! 🌺🐎

Bring your ʻohana and come early to find a spot along the route. The parade begins at 9 a.m. at Ala Moana Beach Park and travels along Kalākaua Avenue to Kapiʻolani Park, featuring floral floats, pāʻū riders, bands and community organizations.

Don’t forget sunscreen and water for a morning in the sun!

Planning to join us for the 78th Floral Parade? 🌺

The parade begins at 9 a.m. and travels from Ala Moana Boulevard through Waikiki along Kalakaua Avenue to Kapiolani Park.

Come early and make a day out of it! Ala Moana Boulevard and surrounding streets along the route are expected to begin closing at 8 a.m. For parking, look near Ala Wai Boulevard, the Honolulu Zoo, Ala Moana Beach Park, International Market Place or Kapiolani Park.

Join us at 9 a.m. as floral floats, pāʻū riders, marching bands and community groups make their way from Ala Moana Beach Park along Kalākaua Avenue to Kapiʻolani Park.

The 72nd Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa is happening tomorrow! 🌺🎶

Check out this year’s map to find stages, vendors and activities along Kalākaua Avenue before you head down.

The celebration takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 10 p.m. Come early, explore the full route and enjoy an evening of Hawaiian music, hula, food and shopping in the heart of Waikīkī.
