Our National Coming Out Day Resource Fair may be canceled for tomorrow, but a little rain can’t dim our Pride. 🌈☔️

We’re disappointed we won’t get to gather, celebrate, and connect with everyone as planned, but the safety of our community comes first.

We’re working with our UH partners to see if there’s another date in October when we can come together. In the meantime, stay safe, stay proud, and know that our Pride will shine through any storm.

H3RC’s offices on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi are closed today, October 6, for an all-staff strategic planning day.

Our team is taking time to come together, reflect on our work, and plan for how we can continue to best serve our communities across Hawaiʻi.

We’ll resume normal operations tomorrow, October 7.

As we begin planning Transgender Day of Remembrance 2026, we want to hear from our community.

TDOR is a time to remember transgender, māhū, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people who are no longer with us, reflect on the lives behind the names, and come together in care and remembrance.

We also know there are many ideas about what makes this gathering meaningful, respectful, and community-centered. Your voice should be part of that conversation.

What should we continue?
What should we do differently?
What would you like to see included this year?

We’ve created a short community input form where you can share your thoughts, ideas, and concerns. Responses can be submitted anonymously.

We may not be able to include every idea, but every response will be reviewed and will help guide how this gathering continues to grow and evolve.

Last week, H3RC joined communities across the country for Save a Life Day. 💜

H3RC Overdose Prevention Specialist Zach was out in the community providing free naloxone, sharing overdose prevention resources, and helping more people learn how to recognize and respond to an overdose.

Because saving a life can start with something as simple as carrying naloxone and knowing how to use it.

Mahalo to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and took home lifesaving tools.

Harm reduction saves lives. And everyone deserves another tomorrow.
