Congratulations to the HHS Track and Field teams on an amazing season! The girls won the state championship in a dominant fashion. The boys finished third.

The Kachemak Bay Running Club is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for youth ages 13-18 to attend the Steens Mountain Running Camp near Burns, Oregon!

For 15 years, Homer High School cross country coaches have accompanied a group of athletes to attend the Steens High Altitude Mountain Running Camp: a one week High Altitude Running/Trail/Hiking Camp near Burns, Oregon.

KBRC believes all student athletes deserve access to life-changing experiences like Steens, and intends to provide three scholarships of $400 towards attending the Session 2 of the Steens Running Camp from 19-26 July, 2026.
