Appointments for this year's Rotary Health Fair low-cost blood tests are open! Learn more and book your appointment at RotaryHealthFair.org.

Baseline lab work gives you a snapshot of your health and a starting point to compare with future results. Many health conditions can develop gradually without obvious symptoms, so knowing your numbers can help you and your healthcare provider recognize changes over time. Your results can also provide a helpful starting point for conversations about your health, lifestyle, medications, and preventive care. Think of it as getting to know your normal, so you have something to compare against as your health changes over the years.

Save the Date: This year's Rotary Health Fairwill be on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 8am - 1pm at Homer High School.

For over 40 years, South Peninsula Hospital has partnered with the Kachemak Bay Rotary Club on the Rotary Health Fair, Rotary’s largest annual fundraiser and a longstanding event supporting community health. This year, we are bringing back one day, in person lab draws at Homer High School. Lab prices will remain at last year’s reduced rates, and participants can choose from a menu of low-cost blood tests in a convenient, one-stop setting.

This event also provides the community a chance to learn about local health services and up-to-date information on relevant health topics. Over 40 exhibitors will be under one roof, offering various health screenings, demonstrations, and services.

As the days get shorter, remember that many Alaskans struggle to maintain adequate Vitamin D levels—an essential nutrient for strong bones, a healthy immune system, and balanced moods. Low Vitamin D can lead to fatigue, frequent colds, mood changes, and weaker bones over time.

Boost your Vitamin D by:
🐟 Enjoying local salmon
🌞 Soaking up sunlight whenever possible
💊 Talking to your provider about testing and supplements

Curious about your Vitamin D levels? Take advantage of the greatly reduced prices at the Rotary Health Fair's annual low-cost blood tests this October!
