We're so excited to welcome Emily as the Alaska Small Business Development Center's Homer Business Advisor! Although separate entities, we're happy to host Emily's office in the Chamber, and this partnership with the Alaska SBDC is a valuable asset to the Homer business community.
Emily Ault earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, focusing on business strategy, finance, risk management, and organizational leadership. She is also the co-owner of Inlet Charters Across Alaska Adventures, a family-owned tourism business based in Homer. Since purchasing the company with her brother in 2023, Emily has been involved in all aspects of the business, including operations, marketing, financial planning, staffing, and long-term growth.
Before joining the Alaska SBDC, Emily spent ten years working in education, including four years as an elementary school teacher. Her experience as both an educator and small business owner helps her meet entrepreneurs where they are and guide them through the challenges and opportunities of business ownership.
Born and raised in Homer, Emily believes in supporting Alaska’s small business community and helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful, sustainable businesses.
We also have the added benefit of having Emily serve on the Homer Chamber Board of Directors. Welcome, Emily!
