We’d like to give a big thank you to our amazing partners at Bolay for generously providing free lunch at our Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies event!

Their delicious, wholesome meals helped fuel our students throughout the day and perfectly complemented the focus on health and wellness. We’re so grateful for their support and for helping make this event such a success!

Even though her children don’t attend Apollo, she consistently shows up to support our event with such generosity and heart. Her energy and spirit truly help make our events one of a kind, and we are so grateful for her continued support.

Our Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies event was an incredible success!

The room was filled with hands-on stations where students explored fun and meaningful ways to care for both their mental and physical well-being. They enjoyed making bracelets and stress balls, planting wildflowers, coloring, and journaling—each activity designed to promote creativity, relaxation, and self-expression.

Students also got to fuel their bodies with healthy smoothies, free samples of LMNT electrolytes, and a delicious lunch generously provided by our amazing partners at Bolay. They even took home fidgets to help manage stress beyond the event.

One of the highlights? Watching students light up during yoga sessions and challenge themselves by learning how to safely try a headstand!

It was a day full of movement, mindfulness, and smiles—and we’re so proud of our students for embracing it all. 💙

We had a wonderful night celebrating Eamonn Small and Rosemary Reyes along with all of the other amazing nominees! These two amazing individuals have been supporting the PTSA for over 20 years. We are so lucky to have them at Apollo Middle!

Friday was a busy and exciting day for both our teachers and students!

Our students were thrilled to receive their Papa John’s cards along with their well-earned rewards. The excitement was contagious—especially for our top winners, who were blown away by the snack baskets they received!

Throughout all lunch periods, the PTSA also helped students redeem their Rocket Rewards points. With limited school staffing, many students hadn’t yet had the chance to “shop,” so it was wonderful to finally give them that opportunity and see their hard work pay off.

Meanwhile, our teachers were treated to a “Make Your Own Snack Mix” station, where they could create their own sweet and salty combinations—a small way to show our appreciation for all they do.

Overall, it was a fantastic day that left both students and staff smiling.
