🌈🐾 Remembering Dancer 🐾🌈

Dancer was saved by an advocate who never gave up on her. Because of Annika, Dancer didn’t leave this earth waiting for a family—she left adopted, loved, and truly home. ❤️

Dancer received a devastating cancer diagnosis that quickly spread through her body, ultimately taking her life far too soon.

But cancer will never be what defines Dancer.

We will always remember her as the dog who smiled. The gentle girl who was wonderful with cats. The girl who was over the moon to have her own bed, her favorite blanket, and most importantly, her mom. 🥹❤️

Dancer knew what it meant to be loved. She knew what it meant to belong. And she got to experience the family she had waited for.

Thank you, Annika, for saving Dancer’s life—and for making sure her life was filled with love. You gave her the greatest gift of all: a family, a home, and the chance to be cherished until the very end.

If you are looking for the worlds best copilot, Caramel is your girl! 5 year old Caramel is a loyal friend who is devoted to her humans. She knows her basic commands and wants to be right by the side of her person. Because of her strong devotion to her person, she is also protective of them and follows both voice and hand commands when in these situations. Caramel can co exist with other calm dogs but would prefer to be the queen of her castle. She is 68 pounds, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, crate trained, housebroken, and ready to go home. 4 year old Butch is a big boy who wants to be your lap dog 🐕 He loves his humans with his whole heart and you will be his entire world! Butch is 92 pounds, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, crate trained, and overdue for his forever home! Butch came to us from our sanctuary friends and has been waiting over 750 days to find his place to call home. Butch has lived with cats and children and can be selective about his dog friends, a meet and greet with a current doggy family member 💙 ❤️ would be best! Urgent Calypso has left Palm Beach Animal Control and now on her journey to a forever family thanks to the tenacity of volunteers who saw beyond the stress of the shelter and could see the girl who needed to be loved! Scout Update: Scout is successfully completing his refeeding plan and keeping the food down. He is relaxing and showing us that he likes other dogs too. Scout has a long way to go but we are happy to say he is doing so much better than when he first arrived!

Welcome Starry to WAGS! Starry was struggling in the shelter enviornment and found herself as urgent with a euthanasia date of 10/1 we were able to buy her time by getting an extension to work through the details of getting her out safely. Volunteers kept posting and speaking with people until the right adopter answered her plea. It is always tricky when dogs need to be the only dog in the home but its never impossible, her plea was answered with a YES! Starry will spend 10 days with WAGS while she waits for her transport and then this urgent dog will walk into the arms of her forever Dad. ❤️ Thank you Tim for saying YES and thank you for never leaving a dog behind!
