CatPals has been in operation since 1994. Our TNR program in the Park is OVER. We need to save the final abandoned cats before they are trapped.

We need Funds to make farm safe! If you see anyone leaving an animal please contact us, get the tag We work with trappers in East Hollywood that we fund through grants to spay neuter community cats. We have exhausted this years grant (only allowed every other year!) But we will still try to help in our area. Donations are appreciated as we also have a catio full of cats to feed and maintain.

UPDATE: One of the people involved in rescuing Ms Mocha is getting grief from her landlord and now it looks as though once again this poor cat needs a place to go. Her crime? She went inside and likes it. Would anyone be interested in a poor neglected kitty that has a dangling tail due to surgery and likes wet food and apparently doesn't want to be outside Any More. She would probably have to acclimate again, maybe not outside in a cage but a smaller room to get adjusted to new digs. This poor animal has been thru it. She will eventually choose you and become the lovely Ms. Mocha we know her to be. [email protected] Hollywood FL

Miss Mocha was found under a shipping container as well. She had a gangrene tail with plenty of skin issues to go with it. Susn Hart was kind enough to trap her, a real task, she hissed and spit and carried on. She had a partial tail amputation, treated for skin issues, vaccines and then we crated her in my neighborhood with an established colony. We only kept her locked in ten days because of the heat and raccoons tornenting her; but the resillient Miss Mocha got out of the cage and walked right up to the feeder and laid her head on her feet. Smart kitty. Living the good life, even ventured indoors. Her chip goes back to a vet in Cincinnatti and I guess unless the owners finally call or she talks we will never know how she ended up in Hollywood Fl hurt and alone under a container.

These cats will be moving to the catio out of the park. We need to test, vaccinate and health check all; two need fixed. There are 20 to 30 more we cannot intake, looking for another feral sanctuary or group that can take a few! We need money to get these to safety! In order of appearance, meet Cheddar, Lil Dude, Krissy, Fluffernutter, Janet, Momma (needs a name, gotta find out if there are kittens) Cameo, Blaisey, Melody aka Melly melly, Dakota, Bad Buddy (handsome but bully) Cameo! Sampson had it made. He was acclimated for 3 weeks in a catio and stuck around the house for a whole 2 days; then he trotted himself right back down the beach to his old home in the park. Moving ferals is not easy.

Happy and Safe 4th to All! Please keep your pets safe indoors with you; and if outside bring water and on a leash. More animals get lost today then any other day. Be smart.
