Today, we celebrated our Seniors from Hilo and Waiākea High Schools and our three Scholarship recipients🙌.

⭐️ Vivien will be attending HawCC to pursue Nursing
💙 Princess will be attending UH Hilo to pursue Biology
🤍 Jamie will be attending Seattle University to pursue Nursing

We wish our graduates the best in their future endeavors! Thank you for your dedication to service and being excellent role models for future generations💙🤍💛

That’s a wrap for Merrie Monarch 2026🌺

Mahalo to our dedicated members for showing up every night to collect tickets for the esteemed Merrie Monarch Festival🤗.

This is our biggest service project of the year and we are so grateful to volunteer for this every year❤️. Mahalo also to the Kawelu ʻohana for all you do to perpetuate the legacy of King David Kalākaua.

Congratulations and welcome to the newest member of our K-Family, K-Kids! 🎉 👏 This is only the 2nd K-Kids club on Hawai’i Island😃.

It’s truly an inspiration to see the next generation learn about servant leadership and do their part to make the world a better place🤝

Huge shoutout to K-Kids Advisor, Ms. Escalona, for your passion and dedication to service. Ms. Escalona is a former member of Hilo High’s Key Club and UH Hilo’s Circle K and now gets to mentor and guide 29 students at Waiākeawaena on their service journey💚💛

Join us at the 2026 Merrie Monarch Festival as we collect tickets at the gates, ensure no stadium seats are brought into the stadium, and everyone enters safely🌺

We were glad to have a small part in raising money for The Salvation Army who does so much to provide food, shelter, and much needed services to our community❤️.

Celebrate Service🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

This was our 2nd year volunteering at the Veterans Day Parade and we had a great time providing assistance to the parade announcers and serving as parade marshals.

We remain forever grateful for your service and sacrifice🫡
