Get Ready for National Bike Month!
April is here, and that means May—and National Bike Month—are just around the corner. In celebration, we are once again offering our popular Smart Cycling classes, also known as "Drivers Ed for Cyclists," for individuals ages 15 and up. These classes are designed to help you prepare for safe and enjoyable cycling on the road. Sessions begin in April, with the first class scheduled for Saturday, April 18th, and another session on Saturday, May 16th. Please note that registration closes one week before each class date, so be sure to sign up early.
About the Smart Cycling Classes
Our Smart Cycling classes focus on teaching you how to ride more safely on the road alongside vehicles. You will learn essential topics such as the 5 Levels of Crash Prevention, basic traffic laws as they pertain to cyclists, and important hazard avoidance maneuvers. For more information and to register, visit our website at www.washcobikes.org/education.
Group Classes Available
If you are part of a work group, family, circle of friends, church group, or any other organization interested in learning together, let us know. We may be able to arrange a class specifically for your group. For more details or to schedule a group class, contact Steve at [email protected]. Class sizes are limited, so we encourage you to sign up soon to reserve your spot.
