Our Ambassadors: On the Front Lines of Mental Health Awareness and Wellness Education

This year, our Naturelle Ambassadors are taking on an especially meaningful role — championing the ThriveFirst Mental Health & Wellness First Responder Certification and advocating for mental-health education among youth, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and household members.

We believe that mental-health awareness should not begin only when a crisis occurs. It should begin at home, where families can recognize challenges early, create safe spaces for conversations, and know how to reach out for appropriate support.

Our Ambassadors will help carry this message into their communities by raising awareness, encouraging participation in ThriveFirst training, engaging families and youth, building meaningful partnerships, and inspiring others to become advocates for mental health and whole-person wellness.

Our mission is guided by three powerful words:

RECOGNIZE. EMPOWER. SUPPORT.

Through ThriveFirst, we envision a future where more households are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and compassion to provide initial support to loved ones experiencing mental-health challenges or emotional distress.

Every Household Deserves a ThriveFirst Mental Health Advocate and Wellness Champion!

Our Ambassadors understand that their role goes beyond wearing a sash, receiving recognition, or holding an honorary title.

Being a Naturelle Ambassador is a commitment to service, a responsibility to lead by example, and an opportunity to become a voice for those who may be struggling in silence.

Their diverse experiences in healthcare, education, leadership, business, caregiving, humanitarian service, and youth empowerment remind us that mental-health advocacy belongs to everyone.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Ambassadors

On behalf of Dr. Arlene Strugar, CEO and Co-Founder, and the entire Naturelle WellEarth Foundation leadership team, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and deepest gratitude to our Ambassadors.

Thank you for believing in our mission, generously sharing your voices and talents, and embracing the responsibility of helping others feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

Your willingness to serve is an inspiration. Your leadership is a gift to our communities. And your advocacy can help bring hope, education, and encouragement to families who need it most.

Congratulations, Naturelle WellEarth Ambassadors 2026!

As we begin our next five years, may you continue to lead with compassion, inspire with purpose, and make mental-health awareness a movement that begins in every home and reaches communities around the world.

Together, we are not just celebrating mental-health advocates. We are building a community of advocates who can help change lives.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Naturelle WellEarth Foundation to Honor Jacqueline “Jacque” P. de Joya with Outstanding Leadership & Community Service Award

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — October 24, 2026 — Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is proud to announce that Jacqueline P. de Joya, affectionately known as "Jacque", will be honored with the Faces of Mental Health – Outstanding Leadership & Community Service Award during Naturelle’s 5th Anniversary Faces of Mental Health Celebration at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The award recognizes Jacque’s distinguished record of Filipino American leadership, public service, civic engagement, cultural preservation, professional excellence, women’s advocacy, and community empowerment.

Throughout her years of service, Jacque has demonstrated that leadership is not defined solely by titles, but by the ability to bring people together, strengthen communities, preserve cultural identity, and create opportunities for others.

A Legacy of Leadership, Service and Filipino American Pride

Jacque is a respected Filipino American community leader whose dedication to service has made a meaningful impact throughout Las Vegas and beyond.

As a former President of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations – Nevada Chapter (NaFFAA-NV), she helped advance the organization’s mission of promoting Filipino American unity, leadership, cultural identity, and community engagement.

Her leadership emphasized collaboration among community organizations, advocacy against discrimination and hate crimes, and greater civic participation among Filipino Americans.

Her service to NaFFAA continues at the national and state levels. Jacque serves as a National NaFFAA Trustee and as a member of the NaFFAA-NV Advisory Board, bringing her experience and perspective to the federation’s continuing work.

Advancing Women Through Public Service

Jacque’s commitment to leadership extends beyond Filipino American community organizations.

In January 2025, she began serving as a Commissioner on the Nevada Commission for Women, with her term scheduled through December 2027.

Her appointment reflects her continued dedication to public service and her commitment to helping advance opportunities, representation, and participation for women throughout Nevada.

Naturelle WellEarth Foundation recognizes the importance of women leaders who use their experience and influence to encourage civic engagement, mentorship, representation, and community participation.

Professional Leadership and Excellence

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with a degree in Accounting, Jacque has also built a successful professional career.

She serves as an Administrative Manager at RBSM LLP, an international accounting firm, bringing organizational leadership and professional expertise to her work.

Jacque also serves as President of the Filipino American Professional Association (FAPA), where she continues to support professional development, networking, leadership, and community involvement among Filipino American professionals.

Her ability to balance professional responsibilities with extensive community service reflects a lifelong commitment to giving back.

Preserving Filipino Arts and Culture

Cultural preservation has also defined much of Jacque’s service.

In 2009, she became President of the Filipiniana Dance Company of Las Vegas, helping preserve and promote traditional Filipino dances through performances, cultural programs, and community activities.

Through these efforts, Jacque has helped introduce Filipino heritage and traditions to audiences from many backgrounds while encouraging younger generations to remain connected to their cultural identity.

Her leadership reflects Naturelle’s belief that culture and community connection can play important roles in identity, belonging, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Strengthening Filipino American Visibility

Jacque’s community involvement has also included service with the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce, the St. Viator Foundation, and Scouting activities.

As a NaFFAA-NV leader, she also supported the Filipino Town cultural district initiative in Las Vegas, helping strengthen recognition of the history, presence, and contributions of Filipino Americans in Southern Nevada.

Her work represents an enduring commitment to ensuring that Filipino American voices, traditions, accomplishments, and community contributions remain visible and valued.

Jacque represents the spirit of leadership through service, said Dr. Arlene Strugar, CEO and Co-Founder of Naturelle WellEarth Foundation. “Her work demonstrates how civic leadership, cultural pride, professional excellence, and community service can come together to strengthen people and communities. She continues to inspire others to participate, lead, preserve their heritage, and create opportunities for the next generation.”

The Spirit of Bayanihan

Jacque’s leadership reflects the Filipino value of bayanihan — unity, compassion, cooperation, and service to others.

Her career and community involvement demonstrate a willingness to bring people together around shared goals while encouraging women, young professionals, emerging leaders, and Filipino Americans to embrace both their heritage and their responsibility to contribute meaningfully to society.

Her legacy reminds us that leadership is measured not simply by positions held, but by lives touched, communities strengthened, traditions preserved, and opportunities created for future generations.

For these contributions, Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is proud to recognize:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Naturelle WellEarth Foundation to Honor Hon. Bella Aurora “Amie” P. Belmonte with Distinguished Diplomatic Leadership, Public Service & Lifetime Achievement Award

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — October 24, 2026 — Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is proud to announce that Honorable Bella Aurora “Amie” P. Belmonte, honorary consul, public servant, entrepreneur, humanitarian, author, mentor, and community leader, will be honored with the Faces of Mental Health – Distinguished Diplomatic Leadership, Public Service & Lifetime Achievement Award during Naturelle’s 5th Anniversary Faces of Mental Health Celebration at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The recognition honors a lifetime defined by diplomatic service, pioneering public leadership, healthcare and aging advocacy, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, civic engagement, mentorship, and service to Filipino and Filipino American communities.

Belmonte’s leadership philosophy is rooted in servant leadership and the belief that true leadership is measured not only by accomplishments, but also by the people one empowers, the communities one strengthens, and the legacy one leaves behind.

A Trailblazer in Diplomatic and Public Service
Belmonte made history as the first Honorary Consul of the Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul of Las Vegas. Together with her husband, Leo Belmonte, who serves as Executive Director of the office, she has helped provide services to Filipino and Filipino American constituents, including assistance to nationals, travel-document support, notarial and consular services, educational forums about the Philippines, and coordination involving visiting dignitaries.

Her distinguished record of public service extends well beyond diplomatic work.

With a Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Administration and Gerontology, Belmonte built a career at the intersection of public policy, community development, healthcare, and human services. Her professional experience includes work with the Hawaii and Nevada State Legislatures, contributing to initiatives addressing critical social and community needs.

She also broke barriers as the first Director of Homeless for the State of Hawaii and the first Asian Director of Aging for Southern Nevada. In these pioneering leadership roles, she helped advance programs and services for vulnerable populations, older adults, individuals, and families.

Her leadership also included managing multimillion-dollar grant-funded service initiatives, including the development of a Family Resource Center in Hawaii and programs designed to address community needs. In her work with older adults in Southern Nevada, she emphasized engagement, dignity, and ensuring that seniors had a voice in identifying and addressing their needs.
Leadership at the Intersection of Healthcare and Compassion

In 2001, Belmonte founded Senior Resources and Services, LLC, establishing an organization focused on geriatric care management, marketing, consulting, and compassionate support for older adults.

Her work reflects a belief that business and healthcare leadership can also serve as platforms for advocacy, dignity, service, and meaningful social impact.

Naturelle WellEarth Foundation recognizes this aspect of her career as particularly meaningful to its Faces of Mental Health mission.
Community well-being is influenced by more than clinical mental-health treatment alone. Housing security, aging with dignity, social connection, access to resources, cultural belonging, civic representation, compassionate leadership, and supportive services can all contribute to a person’s quality of life and emotional well-being.

“Honorable Amie Belmonte represents the kind of lifetime leadership that touches many dimensions of well-being,” said Dr. Arlene Strugar, CEO and Co-Founder of Naturelle WellEarth Foundation. “Her service has reached older adults, vulnerable populations, Filipino American families, civic organizations, faith communities, and future leaders. Her story reminds us that public service and compassionate leadership can have a lasting effect on the health and strength of an entire community.”

Championing Filipino American Leadership and Representation
Belmonte has played an important role in advancing Filipino American leadership, civic participation, visibility, and community empowerment.

Her service with the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) has included leadership at the state, regional, and national levels. She served as Nevada State President, Regional President representing Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, and as a member of the organization’s national Board of Trustees.

She also served as President and Co-Founder of Filipino American Political Organization with Equal Representation (Fil-Am POWER), a nonpartisan grassroots organization focused on civic engagement and equitable representation.

Through these leadership roles, Belmonte has helped encourage greater participation and representation while creating pathways for community members to have a stronger voice in shaping their future.

Faith, Philanthropy and Service to Humanity
Faith has remained central to Belmonte’s life and approach to leadership. Together with her husband, she serves on the governing board of New Hope Las Vegas and has remained actively involved in Christian ministry. Their service has included more than two decades of Bible teaching as well as support for missions, orphanages, humanitarian initiatives, and communities in different parts of the world.

Her philanthropic work reflects a philosophy that leadership should be rooted in generosity, compassion, purpose, and a willingness to serve others.

Inspiring Purpose and Personal Transformation
Belmonte is also the author of the Amazon bestselling book Dawn of a New Day – Stepping into Your Divine Destiny, sharing messages of hope, spiritual growth, renewal, purpose, and personal transformation.

As an inspirational speaker, mentor, coach, instructor, and curriculum developer, she encourages individuals to recognize their potential, embrace their purpose, overcome limitations, and pursue meaningful lives of leadership and service.

Her influence extends beyond the positions she has held. It can be seen in the individuals she has mentored, the communities she has strengthened, and the future leaders she continues to inspire.

A Lifetime of Recognition and Impact
Belmonte’s leadership and philanthropic contributions have received recognition at the local, state, national, and international levels.

Among her numerous honors are the Philippines’ Presidential Award, the Filipino Americans Nevada Governor’s Trailblazer Award, recognition among the 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the World and 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the World, the NaFFAA Lion Leadership Award, recognition among Nevada’s Top Asian Leaders, and awards recognizing philanthropy, diplomatic service, community advocacy, and exceptional leadership.

She has also received congressional recognitions, proclamations, resolutions, and acknowledgments from elected officials, community institutions, and organizations for her leadership, advocacy, and service.

These honors reflect more than professional achievement. They represent the breadth of a life devoted to public service, philanthropy, advocacy, community empowerment, and the development of future generations of leaders.

For this reason, Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is honored to recognize:
Honorable Bella Aurora “Amie” P. Belmonte
Faces of Mental Health – Distinguished Diplomatic Leadership, Public Service & Lifetime Achievement Award
in recognition of her extraordinary lifetime of diplomatic leadership, public service, healthcare advocacy, community empowerment, humanitarian work, mentorship, philanthropy, and servant leadership.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Naturelle WellEarth Foundation to Honor Marie Jane Cutshall with Outstanding Mental Health Advocate Award

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — October 24, 2026 — Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is proud to announce that Marie Jane Cutshall, longtime educator, early-childhood specialist, mentor, cultural advocate, and community volunteer, will be honored with the Faces of Mental Health – Outstanding Mental Health Advocate Award during Naturelle’s 5th Anniversary Faces of Mental Health Celebration at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

With more than 31 years of teaching experience in the Philippines and the United States, Marie Jane has dedicated much of her life to educating, nurturing, and encouraging children. Known for her compassion, positive attitude, creativity, and energetic approach to teaching, she has helped generations of young learners develop confidence, participation, character, and a love for learning.

Her work reflects an important part of Naturelle WellEarth Foundation’s message: mental and emotional well-being can be strengthened every day by the people who create safe, positive, nurturing, and supportive environments for children and families.

A Lifelong Commitment to Children and Education
Marie Jane currently serves as an educator at International Christian Montessori Academy in Las Vegas, where she has devoted approximately 21 years to nurturing young learners through Montessori-aligned educational approaches.

Her work emphasizes more than academics. She encourages hard work, self-confidence, classroom participation, creativity, positive character, and healthy development—qualities that can help children build a strong foundation for lifelong well-being.
She also serves as a Childcare Specialist with Imagination Station in Las Vegas, where she has provided quality childcare for approximately 11 years, helping create a safe, positive, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment for young children.

Prior to her work in Las Vegas, Marie Jane spent approximately 10 years teaching at Don Bosco/Santa Mesa in Manila, Philippines, where she educated and mentored students while encouraging academic growth and positive character development.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education in the Philippines in 1994.

Advocacy Through Mentorship, Belonging and Positive Development
Naturelle WellEarth Foundation recognizes that mental-health advocacy can take many forms.
For Marie Jane, advocacy has been reflected through years of educating children, building confidence, creating supportive learning environments, mentoring young people, encouraging creativity, and promoting positive relationships.

“Marie Jane represents the everyday face of mental-health advocacy,” said Dr. Arlene Strugar, CEO and Co-Founder of Naturelle WellEarth Foundation. “For more than three decades, she has been present in the lives of children—teaching, nurturing, encouraging, and helping them believe in themselves. Educators and childcare professionals can have a tremendous influence on a child’s sense of safety, confidence, belonging, resilience, and hope.”

Her ability to combine education with creativity has also been central to her work. Her interests include arts and crafts, cooking, sewing, singing, dancing, and music, skills she has incorporated into her work with children and community activities.

Service Beyond the Classroom
Marie Jane’s commitment to helping others extends well beyond her professional role.

She regularly volunteers in efforts that provide food and essential resources to people experiencing homelessness, bringing warmth and practical assistance to members of the community who need support.

Her community involvement has included participation with organizations and Filipino American community groups such as the International Lions Club, Bikolnon Association, Ilocano Association, Cavite Association, MDM Society Nevada, NaFFAA, and FACAI, as well as involvement in local and international outreach and humanitarian initiatives.

She has also participated in the Fil-Am Cultural Dance Group and the Fil-Am Voices of Las Vegas Choir, using music, performance, and Filipino cultural traditions as additional ways to build connection and strengthen community.

Marie Jane also has prior experience assisting with specialized production and media responsibilities as part of a Fil-Am news crew, reflecting another dimension of her community involvement and creativity.

The Connection Between Education and Mental Well-Being
Naturelle WellEarth Foundation believes that the mental health of a community is influenced by far more than clinical treatment alone.
Children benefit when they are surrounded by adults who help them feel safe, capable, accepted, encouraged, and valued.

Educators, childcare specialists, mentors, cultural leaders, and volunteers can therefore play an important role in supporting emotional well-being and resilience.

Marie Jane’s decades of service demonstrate how one person can positively influence children, families, colleagues, and communities through consistency, compassion, encouragement, and service.
For this reason, Naturelle WellEarth Foundation International is honored to recognize:
Marie Jane Cutshall

Faces of Mental Health – Outstanding Mental Health Advocate Award
for her enduring commitment to education, early-childhood development, mentorship, positive leadership, cultural engagement, humanitarian outreach, and community service.
