On International Children’s Day, we honor the resilience of children everywhere and recognize the challenges too many are forced to endure because of war.

In Ukraine, children have faced displacement, disrupted childhoods, and unimaginable loss. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian children have also been abducted by Russia—separated from their homes, families, and communities.

Every child deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to simply be a child. Today, and every day, we stand with Ukraine’s children.
