Some moments deserve more than a simple “thank you.” 💙
At this year’s Extraordinary Educators celebration, we had the privilege of recognizing 25 incredible educators from across High Point — each with a different story, a different classroom, and a different way of making an impact.
As their stories were shared, the room filled with applause, laughter, and more than a few emotional moments. We heard about educators who make sure students know they matter, teachers who go the extra mile long after the school day ends, and leaders who continue showing up for their students and colleagues in ways that often go unseen. That’s what made this celebration so special.
At the August 17 High Point City Council meeting, Mayor Cyril Jefferson also honored our 25 Extraordinary Educators with a Mayoral Proclamation, recognizing their commitment and service to students across our community.
This celebration was about more than an award. It was our community’s opportunity to say: We see you. We appreciate you. And the work you do matters.
