We recently celebrated the second birthday of the Pathfinders Mentoring Program with a special mentor appreciation dinner!

This past school year alone, nearly 100 community mentors served students in grades 7–10 at Flat Rock Middle School and East Henderson High School through the Pathfinders program. The celebration dinner was an opportunity to thank these dedicated volunteers for the time, encouragement, and support they have invested in students throughout the year. The evening celebrated not only the growth of the program, but also the meaningful relationships being built between students and caring adults across our community.

Thank you mentors!!

We were so proud to have our incredible student emcees lead this year’s Education Celebration alongside Dr. John Bryant. Together, they brought confidence, poise, and heart to the stage, representing the very best of Henderson County Public Schools.

As we celebrated our Ruby Jubilee, marking 40 years of serving students, supporting educators, and strengthening schools, their leadership was a powerful reminder of the impact of this work.

From welcoming our guests to guiding us through such a meaningful evening, they made the night even more special. Thank you for leading with such excellence. The future is bright because of students like you. 💙
