Maggie is ready for her forever home. She will do best in a quiet home with no other pets.
If you don’t know, Maggie was thrown outside but the only family she’d known since she was a kitten. Thank God, somebody intervened and picked her up and we took her in to Rescue.
She’s been nothing but a sweet and loving kitty. She will do best with older kids as younger kids are not her speed.
She is having a hard time adjusting with meeting the resident Cats and Dogs, so we think she would prefer to be the only animal.
Maggie is a five-year-old siamese lynx point who is spayed up-to-date on shots and microchipped.

Welcome Nigel to the LVRC family ❤️❤️
We got a call from a good Samaritan, who has been feeding Nigel and a couple other cats for several months. She finally found the resources to get the cats into the TNR program at HCW, all the other cats found places to go, but Nigel was left by himself.
We are beyond full, 3 kittens get adopted 4 more need help is a non stop flow of homeless animals in our city and Nigel is just another innocent cat thrown on the streets to fend for himself in 112 degree weather.
What we know about Nigel is he went into a temporary foster home for a week where he adored the Female Cat in the home unfortunately, this person was unable to keep him long-term, and he was about to be put back out on the streets
We stepped up for Nigel and a big thanks to his rescuer and Adventure Pet Resort for accepting him into their Cat room while we look for his home or have a spot open up with a foster.

Nigel is 2 years old, blue point siamese who is neutered, up to date on shots and will be microchipped before adoption.
He is a very friendly quite guy
who will do great in any home by himself or that has a friendly female kitty in the home.

Only dog experienced foster or adopter needed !!!
Las Vegas Rescue Center is looking for an adopter or Foster for this four year-old Lil Chihuahua. Another Rescue asked us if we can help with a little Chihuahua named gunner as they have no only dogs home so we are trying to help Gunner in his journey to his forever home.
Gunner is a 4 year-old, 12 pound Chihuahua that needs to be the only dog. He’s up-to-date on shots and microchip so he’ll need nothing medically. He just needs a safe place where people will let him decompress.Gunner‘s owner died, leaving gunner, scared, and afraid and he does not understand what’s going on
We need a foster home with no other dogs and somebody that is experience or an Adopter, who is experienced with Chihuahuas that can potentially bite. We need someone who understanding that it’ will take time for gunner to feel safe.

Welcome our next new girl ( name to come) she was found living on the streets and we were asked to take her in Our primary focus is helping the siamese breed (of course we will help any cat) before and after they are abandoned on the streets or in the shelter system.
These 2 kittens from this post and the last came in the same day and we took them in.
This littie girl is a lynx point siamese approx 4/5 months old, she is super friendly.
She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and snap tested( neg)

Update Saturday 8/21 Our new girl Penelope is ready to find her forever home ! She will be at our adoption event tomorrow. Please check out event schedule with time and place.
Welcome our new little girl ( name to come) to the LVRC family.
This little girl was brought into HCW through the Animal Foundation to be fixed and released out onto the streets. We were asked to intervene and take her into rescue and of course we said yes, if we can stop a kitten from having to live its life on the streets then we will step up.
She is approximately 4 months old and very friendly, she is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and snap tested( neg)
She is in foster and we are getting to know her and then she will be ready to begin her new life.
