🎉 Happy Birthday, Tina! 🎉

Yesterday, we celebrated a very special member of the True ID family—our incredible mentor, Tina! For the past two years, Tina has faithfully served alongside True ID, investing her time, heart, and prayers into the lives of the women we serve.

After praying about ministry opportunities, God led her to True ID through a prayer gathering, and we have been blessed by her presence ever since. If you know Tina, you know her love for Jesus shines brightly. She has a gift for creating authentic community, encouraging others, and helping people experience God's goodness, grace, and faithfulness.

She has walked closely with several women in our program, offering steady support through both the beautiful moments and the difficult ones. Tina's life reminds us that ministry is often found in simply showing up—listening, encouraging, praying, and loving others well.

Her consistency, compassion, and servant's heart have made a lasting impact on the women she mentors and on our entire True ID team.

True ID didn’t begin with a business plan or a perfect vision. It began with healing, with mentorship, and small steps of obedience. 🙏🏼

Sometimes God doesn’t reveal the whole picture all at once. He simply asks us to trust Him with the next step.

What started as Johanna saying “yes” to walking alongside another survivor became a mission of restoration, hope, and identity in Christ.

And maybe that’s how God works in many of our lives: one faithful step at a time 🌿

Sometimes ministry looks like counseling sessions, support groups, and housing. Other times, it looks like a beautiful couch, new curtains, and a handyman with the skills to make a house feel like home.

Recently, someone generously donated a beautiful couch and curtains for one of our reintegration homes. We cannot always accept furniture donations because we have limited storage, but now and then God aligns the right gift with the exact need at the perfect time. We are so grateful.

At the same time, God answered another need. After putting out a request for handyman help, we were connected with . Frosty has been such a blessing! From the little repairs that tend to pile up to the projects that help keep our homes safe, functional, and welcoming, he has tackled each task with excellence and care.

We often say that restoration takes time, trust, and community. It truly takes a village. We thank God for the generosity of those who give, the people who serve, and the many gifts and talents that are shared to help create spaces where women can heal and rebuild their lives.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

What a beautiful picture of the Gospel: out with the old, in with the new. Not just in our homes, but in our hearts and lives through Jesus Christ.

Nothing builds community quite like a Vegas-hot day, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of laughter.

Recently, our True ID residents and mentors headed to the park for a photo scavenger hunt — and it was truly a photo finish. From creative poses to unexpected teamwork, the afternoon was filled with laughter, connection, encouragement, and memories we won’t soon forget.

Healing and reintegration happen in everyday moments too — walking together, laughing together, creating together.

We’re grateful for a community that keeps showing up for one another.
