On this , we are grateful for a lobby filled with friends, lots of laughs, and delicious smoothies!! 😋

Along with our usual sack lunch, we had some wonderful volunteers make smoothies to go along with it! A welcome treat on this extra warm day! ☀️

Our lobby quickly filled with many neighbors and friends who enjoyed one another’s company, listened to music, and played card games! 🎶🃏

What a JOY it is to share a meal, build friendships, and create a place where everyone can experience ! 💙🧡💚

"To me, Hope in the Good Life means knowing that no one has to walk through their darkest moments alone. It means seeing a safety net made of compassion, where a family facing eviction finds housing, a hungry neighbor receives food, and an immigrant finds a welcoming community." 🫶Happy anniversary today to Mike Fitzgerald! He serves as a member of our CSS Lincoln Family Support Services team, encountering neighbors and connecting them with the resources they need and the hope and dignity they deserve. Please join us in celebrating Mike today!!!💙💚🧡

⏱️It's time to spend 180 (seconds) with Katie!🎧
In our latest podcast, Executive Director Katie Patrick and Development Officer John Soukup look back at a record-setting July for Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska. But behind the impressive numbers are personal stories of families receiving support, from a new mother in Auburn who needed formula and baby essentials to a man in hospice who simply needed someone to sit with him and pray. 🙏
Katie and John reflect on how every gift helps CSS build relationships, walk alongside people during difficult moments, and provide to those who need it most.🥰

" is to believe that the future holds boundless possibilities for goodness and joy. It is to feel confident that no matter what I am experiencing at this moment, blessings still abound. It is to know that God is accompanying us at every step in our life's journey and only wants what is best for us, and to have confidence that ‘God works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).” —Teresa Kiehl, CSS Hastings Family Support Services Case Manager 💙💚🧡

This , we invite you to at Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska as we perform the Works of Mercy in response to the call of God—encountering neighbors in need and walking alongside them. A beautiful example of this is David, pictured with Teresa. He came to us seeking housing services after being incarcerated. He was so grateful for our help that he brought roses and donuts for the CSS staff! 🌹 🍩 David felt so grateful to be able to give back, and our team felt so honored to be a part of his journey to dignity and hope.

While we can’t promise you roses and donuts, we CAN promise you a career focused on inspiring hope and love in every encounter. 🫶🏻

🏌️🎧 FORE! Our CSS Memorial Golf Classic is celebrating its 30th year on 9/14! ⛳

In our latest podcast episode, we look back at the legacy built over three decades. Host John Soukup sits down with CSS VP of Marketing & Development John McDermott—who started the tournament 30 years ago—and Tom Tracy, who played in the very first event.

This year’s tournament honors Tom’s parents, Tom and Margaret Ann Tracy, who built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and devotion. Join us as we reflect on their legacy and the tournament’s history of bringing people together to support CSS. 💚💙🧡
