We’re grateful to the Connecticut Department of Public Health for highlighting the launch of Connecticut’s first Good Neighbor Day! 🎉

, more than 80 people came together at UConn Waterbury for Good Neighbors, Great Communities - a day of learning, connection, and service that brought community members and partners together to celebrate the power of being a good neighbor.

This fall, 98 younger and older adults are participating in our fall 2026 Tea @ 3 Intergenerational Friendship Community!

We’re grateful to the Office of Radio & Television for sharing the story of Tea @ 3, our nationally certified program that has brought nearly 1,000 college students and older adults together to grow friendships across generations. 🌟

Together, they explored how connection, belonging, and joy can strengthen resilience, engagement, and overall well-being.

Through our free Tea @ 3 Intergenerational Friendship Community, you’ll be matched with a college student based on shared interests and enjoy a 15-20 minute phone call each week for 12 weeks.

Share stories, laugh together, learn about each other’s lives, and enjoy the opportunity to build a meaningful new friendship.
