One of our Executive Advisory Council Members, Robin Dyer, supports our Dukes in many different ways. She supports them through being apart of Women for Madison and cheering them on through sporting events! Women for Madison continues to supports students no matter where and when!

JMU’s first-ever Student Association president during our founding years, Agness set the standard for female leadership on campus. 💜

Affectionately known to generations of Dukes as “Mama Ding,” she spent her life nurturing alumni connections and championing the warmth, community, and school pride we now know as The Madison Spirit.

From the early days of a women’s teachers college to the thriving university we love today, women have always been at the heart of JMU’s greatest traditions. Agness reminds us that the torch of leadership is meant to be passed down.
