What a great honor it is to give! The Farm Ministry would like to thank all of our partners and community who worked hard to give to those in need. We were able to provide three truckloads of warm clothes for the children as well as toys, food and daily essentials to those in need in McDowell WV, Myra, KY and Burnsville, NC, this past December. Thank you all so very much. This is what God intended us to do; to take care of each other. God Bless Everyone!

A very special Thank you to Victory Fellowship Church for their most generous donation of toys for the children in West Virginia, Kentucky and North Carolina.

The Farm Ministry is collecting donations for the children in Appalachia. The children (of all ages) are in need of warm clothing, such as socks, gloves, PJ's, beanies, toboggans, scarves, sweatshirts and sweatpants, t-shirts, coats. Any help for the children is appreciated.

Many thanks to our gracious community partners and supporters that helped make this record breaking year possible for our Pork For The Pantry program in Rockingham County!

Thanks to F&M Bank, Rockingham Cooperative, Farm Credit of the Virginias, James River Equipment, Rockingham Petroleum Cooperative, Valley Roofing & Exteriors, County Line Construction, Charlie Obaugh Chevrolet GMC, Blauch Brothers Inc., Chris Runion & Wife Jennifer, C.L. Custer, LLC, Tony Wilt, BGHS FFA & Alumni!

The 1,400 pounds of pork was distributed, thanks to our partner at HOPE Distributed CDC and many other local food pantries across the community in Harrisonburg/Rockingham!

The 'Pork in the Pantry' program has been around since 2016, and features products from livestock raised by area 4-H, FFA students.

Our Ministry partners made a donation of fresh pork into the Greater Augusta area this morning, with our Pork For The Pantry program!

Thanks to all involved to help us not only impact those experiencing food insecurity but also local 4-H & FFA members who raised the hogs during the Augusta County 4-H & FFA Market Animal Show and Sale this past May!

This week, The Farm Ministry was proud to coordinate another impactful Pork for the Pantry donation—this time right here in Augusta County. “I have learned that a refugee or immigrant fearful of not becoming a permanent status, a farmer facing liquidation or foreclosure of his farm, a family having to pay rent and have no money to purchase food for the children, flood disaster victims who have lost everything they own or the veteran who is disabled because he served and is not able to work to feed his family, they all are looking for hope. They find hope in knowing someone cares and is making the effort to help them and feed them. This makes all the difference in the world.” – Keith Turner.

In Rockingham County, Virginia, The Farm Ministry was started over 40 years ago by Keith Turner. The ministry supports farmers and underserved populations, such as refugees and immigrants. The Farm Ministry provides farmers with educational resources and the purchase of their farm products through donated funds. These farm products, beef, cheese, eggs and pork, are donated to feed underserved communities in Rockingham County and beyond. Last year, The Farm Ministry distributed beef in 26 counties of Virginia and to flood disaster victims in four counties of Kentucky and North Carolina, McDowell County and West Virginia.

The four ministries – cheese ministry, beef ministry, pork for the pantry and the financial planning for farmers – The Farm Ministry is run entirely by volunteers. Outreach ministries and churches, such as Harrisonburg Baptist Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia, distribute this produce, creating transformative relationships between churches, farmers, immigrants and refugees within the community.

We are now accepting donation for our new program "Operation Beef for Veterans", you can donate at any of our Retail and Ag locations. This program is designed specifically to help local Veterans with daily nutritional meals. We appreciate all donations to our Veterans who need a little extra help. It's just another way to thank them for their service to our country.
They stood up for us, now it's time we stood up for them!

God's hand is at work this morning! We just received a huge donation of toys and bikes for the children, just in time for Christmas! We're headed out on the 14th, should be a wonderful time for the kids. Thanks to everyone who donated to such a needy cause. Blessings to everyone.
