Our Corks for a Cause silent auction is getting even better thanks to Trentuno Skin Studio and their donation of a “Dermaplane Me Please” Facial, valued at $120!

This custom 60-minute facial includes a double cleanse, dermaplaning, a nourishing face mask, 10-minute massage, and finishing products. In other words… an hour of relaxation is calling your name. 🙌

Today is a BIG day for The Open Door House! 💛

We could not be more excited to share how God has been moving and the vision He has placed before us through our Opening Doors, Building Futures Campaign — a bold vision to raise $6 million over the next six years and create even more hope after foster care.

Each month, young adults are referred to The Open Door House looking for a safe place to land, support, and a path forward. And each month, we face the heartbreaking reality that we simply don’t have enough room to serve everyone who needs us.

The first phase of this campaign will raise $1.2 million to renovate our existing property into a duplex and Educational Enrichment Center. This expansion will create space to serve six more residents, bringing our total residential capacity to 10 next year.

This is about more than adding rooms. It’s about opening doors to stability, opportunity, and a future filled with hope.

And this is only the beginning. 💛

Today, we’re opening the door to what’s next. 🎉🗝️

For years, The Open Door House has provided hope after foster care—giving young adults a safe place to land, a community to surround them, and the tools they need to build independent futures.

But the need continues to grow. And so must we.

Today, we are proud to officially launch Opening Doors, Building Futures—an ambitious $6 million, six-year campaign to expand our campus, grow our capacity from 4 to 26 residents, and help prevent more young adults from aging out of foster care into homelessness.

This is about far more than adding buildings.

It’s about opening doors to safety.
Opening doors to opportunity.
Opening doors to independence.
Opening doors to hope after foster care.

We believe God has placed a bold vision before us—and we know it will take a community to bring it to life.

By intervening early, The Open Door House addresses these challenges head-on, equipping young adults with the tools they need to break cycles of poverty, achieve stability, and thrive.

Corks for a Cause is our annual fundraising event that brings our community together for a meaningful night of impact. But it’s about so much more than a beautiful night out—it’s about the lasting impact that night makes possible.
