❤️ Thank you, Concord Rotary NC !

We are incredibly grateful to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of this year's Spring Tea hosted by the Concord Rotary.

Because of the generosity of everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, and supported the event, young adults aging out of foster care will continue to receive the housing, life skills, mentorship, and community they need to build stable, independent futures.

Partnerships like these remind us that lasting change happens when a community comes together around a shared purpose. Every dollar raised helps provide a path of hope for young adults as they navigate the transition to adulthood.

Thank you to the Concord Rotary for your continued investment in our mission and for helping create brighter futures for the young adults we serve. ❤️

Seven years of prayers. Seven years of trusting God's timing. Seven years of believing that one day we would be able to open our doors to serve young men aging out of foster care.

On Tuesday, that prayer became reality as we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Ezekiel House—our first-ever ribbon cutting ceremony and a milestone we will never forget. ❤️

Words cannot fully express the gratitude we feel. This journey has been one answered prayer after another, and Ezekiel House stands as a reminder that God's plans are always greater than our own.

In true fashion, God gave us a gentle reminder of His sovereignty during the celebration. The rain poured down for the first hour, sending everyone inside and filling the house wall-to-wall.

What could have been seen as an inconvenience became a beautiful picture of what this home represents—a house filled to the brim with people who care deeply about the young men who will one day call it home, even though many may never meet them.

As we looked around the crowded rooms, we were overwhelmed by the love, prayers, generosity, and encouragement that made this moment possible. It truly takes a village, and we are so thankful for every person who has walked alongside us on this journey.

Thank you for helping us open another door of opportunity for young adults aging out of foster care.

God's plan. God's timing. God's faithfulness.

God, we're so grateful. ❤️

❤️ It takes a community to turn a house into a home.

As we prepare to welcome young men aging out of foster care to Ezekiel House, we're reminded that this home is only possible because of the incredible generosity of so many people who have chosen to be part of the story.

A special thank you to:

🏠 TNT Staging for donating the living room and dining room furniture and rugs, creating warm and welcoming spaces where residents can gather, connect, and make memories.

🎨 Crisy Saele for sharing her exceptional design talents and helping transform the house into a place that feels like home.

🏡 Branch Wealth Partners for sponsoring the exterior painting and helping create a beautiful first impression for every young man who walks through our doors.

🛍️ And to everyone who shopped our Amazon Wishlist—thank you for helping provide the everyday essentials that will make Ezekiel House functional, comfortable, and welcoming from day one.

Every piece of furniture, every household item, every hour volunteered, and every gift given sends a powerful message: You are valued. You belong here. You are not alone.

Thank you for helping us create a place where young adults aging out of foster care can find stability, support, and a path of hope. ❤️

A few weeks ago, we had the joy of celebrating a special milestone with one of our program graduates, Sophie.

During her time at The Open Door House, Sophie worked hard to complete her high school diploma and pursue her educational goals. While she completed those requirements before graduating from our program, we recently had the opportunity to watch her officially walk across the stage and celebrate all she has accomplished. 🎓

Since graduating from The Open Door House, Sophie has successfully completed her first year of college and continues building a bright future for herself one step at a time.

Moments like these remind us why our mission matters. Behind every diploma, every completed semester, and every goal achieved is a young adult choosing perseverance, growth, and hope. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of Sophie and all that she has accomplished. Please join us in celebrating this milestone and praying for her as she continues pursuing the plans God has for her life.

Congratulations, Sophie! 🎉 We can't wait to see what comes next.

We are deeply grateful for those who sacrificed everything for the freedoms we experience each day. 🤍

This Memorial Day, we also hold close the families who carry the weight of that loss every single day, not just today. We mourn with you, honor your loved ones, and thank you for the sacrifice your families have made for our nation.🇺🇸
