On October 15, more than 90 of you gathered at Green Leaf Farms for our third annual Corks for a Cause. After our incredible sponsors and partners covered all event costs, you raised $26,000 for young adults aging out of foster care.

Every glass raised, every bid placed and every sponsor who said yes is part of something bigger: a safe place to land, people in their corner, and a path toward an independent future.

Here's where we've been, and where God is leading us next. 🗝️

✅ Phase 1: Grace House for Young Women, completed 2024
✅ Phase 2: Ezekiel House for Young Men, completed 2026
🔨 Phase 3: Duplex + Education & Enrichment Center, 6 more residents by the end of 2027
🏡 Phase 4: The Cottages, growing to 26 young adults

Thanks to you, $200K has already been raised for Phase 3. Now our goal is to raise $400K more by the end of 2026 to move it forward. Every gift matters. Every gift moves us closer to opening six more doors.

Corks for a Cause: A Night Filled With Heart, Hope & Community

It has been an honor to host Corks for a Cause benefiting The Open Door House and this year’s event fell nothing short of inspirational. There is something truly special about opening our farm to a community of people who come together with so much heart to support a mission that matters.

Getting to witness the generosity, connection, and love that surrounds this event is a reminder of what community is all about. Every person who attends, gives, or shares the mission helps make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. We are so grateful to play a small part in bringing people together for such meaningful work. Many thanks for 2 Gals Kitchen for showing up to the plate, literally. We’re especially excited to welcome Mary, Rebekah & their talented team Mary Niemeier , bringing delicious food from their downtown Concord spot straight to the farm! Bonus - they’ve sourced the meal from local farms and are serving up some Green Leaf grass-fed & finished beef ❤️

Mary opened 2 Gals Kitchen with a simple vision: serve good food, create community, and love on people. That heart shines through in everything she does, making it more than a restaurant. It’s a place where neighbors gather, friendships grow, and everyone feels at home.
