Project Prevention is a nonprofit organization that pays drug addicts and alcoholics $300 to use long-term birth control. Our objective is raising public awareness of the problem of addicts/alcoholics exposing their unborn child to drugs during pregnancy. We seek to reduce taxpayers' burden of this social problem, trim down social worker caseloads, and alleviate our clients' burden of having child

ren that will potentially be taken away. Unlike incarceration, our program is extremely cost-effective and does not punish the participants. Project Prevention does not have the resources to combat the national problems of poverty, housing, nutrition, education, and rehabilitation services. The resources we do have are spent to PREVENT a problem for $300 rather than paying millions after it happens to care for a potentially damaged child. We seek and welcome alliances with all sectors of our communities including drug treatment programs, hospitals, and social service departments and have established such contacts throughout the United States. I’d like to just have a conversation about all of the abortion controversy. Project Prevention has no stance as an organization about abortion.
I’m just curious about how our supporters feel and have a few thoughts from my personal experience.
One of our clients had 13 abortions prior to coming to us for birth control. I know many of you just took a very deep breath or uttered a few cuss words, but my question to those of you who are against abortion is would you be willing to adopt any of the children you believe should be born?
I personally just believe we cannot have an issue with abortion unless we’re willing to step up and adopt these children addicts do not want.
Project Prevention believes birth control prevents abortions!
I personally believe if we’re not part of a solution we’re part of the problem.
Please consider adopting. There are over 460,000 children in foster care with more being added daily…

Just sharing an article. We realize it’s not about infants born drug exposed, but can guarantee you that in those 100,000 people some were pregnant when they overdosed and died.

NEW YORK (AP) — An estimated 100,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in one year, a never-before-seen milestone that health officials say is tied to the COVID-19 pandemic and a more dangerous drug supply. Overdose deaths have been rising for more than two decades, accelerated in the past two year...
