It’s time to roll up those sleeves and help bring the Eggers House Rebuild Project across the finish line! Grab your church group, organize friends and family, get your bowling team together - it’s time to organize your village to help others!

We’re looking for volunteers of all skill levels and talents:
Carpentry
Painting
Flooring
Landscaping
Pressure Washing
Window Cleaning
…and more!

You don’t have to be a contractor to make a difference. Whether you’re great with tools, good at organizing, or simply have a willing heart and a servant spirit, there’s a place for you on this team.

A HUGE thank you to the volunteers from Mount Pleasant, led by Brent Plott, who showed up today to help work on the Eggers house. These are the kind of people who don’t just talk about helping — they grab gloves, tools, and get to work making a difference.

Patriot Relief is still on the ground serving families and rebuilding lives, and it takes ALL of us working together to keep going.

When Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina, families didn't just lose their homes. They lost everything.
Patriot Relief volunteers built 23+ insulated temporary shelter homes for displaced families across the region -- each one equipped with a generator, heat, and power. Built by hand. Delivered with heart.

Like so many families in Western North Carolina, the Eggers lost their home to Hurricane Helene. They have been waiting, holding on, trusting that help would come.

Today is International Family Day, a reminder of what we're all fighting to protect.
In Western North Carolina, hundreds of families are still picking up the pieces after Hurricane Helene. They lost their homes, their stability, and in some cases, their neighbors and loved ones.

Patriot Relief has been on the ground since day one building shelter homes, preventing mold damage, and standing with families who have nowhere else to turn.

Because every family deserves a safe place to call home.

Right now, there are still families in Western NC living in homes that haven't been remediated. The mold is still spreading. The clock is still running. And without intervention, those homes — and everything those families have left — will be gone for good.

Our work isn't over. A lot of people care but we still need help!
We recently were denied a grant to fund work like this because, according to the funder, "Hurricane Helene happened almost two years ago."

Almost two years ago. Tell that to the families that aren't home yet.

The disaster may be old news to some. But for the people we serve the need is real, it's urgent, and right now the funding is hard to obtain.

Patriot Relief is on the ground and ready to act.

Quick update: we will do not need volunteers for the Newland insulation installation today.

However — we will need you for the remaining build days on the Eggers’ new home, and this is where we bring it home together.

Thank you for everything this group has already done. Truly. What you’re building isn’t just a house — it’s stability, comfort, and a place where memories will be made for a Western North Carolina family.
