🎉 OUR NEW WEBSITE IS LIVE! 🎉

We're excited to unveil the newly redesigned Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers website!

With a fresh look, improved navigation, and updated information about our facilities, shooting sports, youth programs, and events, it's now easier than ever to explore everything HHA has to offer.

But there's more to this upgrade than a new website! 👀

We're also introducing a new membership management system powered by AssociationSphere, designed to streamline club operations and make managing memberships, accessing club information, and staying connected easier for our members.

Behind the scenes, this project represents countless volunteer hours dedicated to coordinating both the migration of our membership database and the complete overhaul of our website. From organizing and transferring records to reviewing, rewriting, and restructuring website content, this was a tremendous undertaking made possible by the time, dedication, and collaboration of our volunteers.

Additionally, we want to recognize the past volunteers and administrators who dedicated their time to managing our previous website and membership database. Their years of service helped build and maintain the systems that supported our club, laying the foundation for this exciting next chapter. We sincerely appreciate their contributions and the work that brought us to this milestone.

A huge thank you to Blue Hill Sites for bringing our vision for the new website to life, AssociationSphere for helping us modernize our membership management system, and the dedicated HHA volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this transition possible!

💨 A little smoke, a little history, and a whole lot of fun!

Our Black Powder Walk brought some old-school shooting excitement to HHA this past weekend!

From the unmistakable boom to the clouds of smoke, there’s nothing quite like watching black powder fi****ms in action.

We're excited to share that Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers has once again received support from the NRA - National R***e Association of America Foundation, with two grants benefiting our youth competitive shooting programs!

🏆 Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers Youth BB Gun Team: A $945 grant will provide seven new Daisy 499B competition BB guns, helping replace aging equipment and ensuring our young competitors have the tools they need to continue developing their marksmanship skills.

🎯 Competitive Air R***e Program: A second grant, valued at approximately $1,676, provided new competitive shooting equipment, including four shooting uniforms and shooting gloves, to support our athletes as they train and compete.

These grants represent more than just equipment. They're an investment in youth development, sportsmanship, and the future of competitive shooting.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the NRA Foundation and Friends of NRA for their continued generosity and commitment to youth shooting sports. We're grateful for your support in helping HHA provide opportunities for the next generation of marksmen and markswomen! 🇺🇸

🎃 Rain or shine, the show must go on! 💀🔫

Our Halloween 2-Gun 2-Man Team Match was a success, despite Mother Nature doing her best to wash us out! 🌧️

A HUGE thank you to our incredible stage designers, who adapted on the fly and reworked the stages with steel targets to keep the match running when the rain threatened to turn our cardboard targets into mush! 👏

And of course, thank you to all the competitors, volunteers, and match staff who braved the weather to make this event such a fun one!

Another Walt Wise Memorial Police Pistol Match is in the books! 🎯

The 67th Annual Walter Wise Memorial Police Pistol Match brought 68 shooters from four states to HH&A on September 19–20 for a full weekend of competition, camaraderie, and some seriously impressive shooting.

This year’s match included Rim Fire and Center Fire competition, a Commemorative Revolver Centerfire Match, and the Top Gun Rimfire Match.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners — and especially to Cash Colleton and Dave Cooper, who each set new standing records during the weekend.

A huge thank-you goes to everyone who traveled to shoot with us, the many volunteers who helped make the weekend possible, and Academy Sports + Outdoors for supporting this year’s match as a sponsor. From setup and registration to scoring, safety, meals, awards, and teardown, it truly takes a team to make an event like Walt Wise happen.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

🚨 DATE UPDATE: CPR/AED/First Aid Training is now Sunday, November 1!

HHA’s upcoming CPR/AED/First Aid training through The Peyton Walker Foundation has been rescheduled to Sunday, November 1 from 2–6 PM.

The class is $25 per person and includes a two-year CPR/AED/First Aid certification for adults and children upon completion.

If you already registered, Marianne will be reaching out to confirm the new date still works for you.

Nothing says fall quite like pork & sauerkraut at HH&A! 🍂

Join us Saturday, October 17, for a hearty meal featuring pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, peas, gravy, rolls, a beverage, and dessert. Dinner will be served from 3:30–5:00 PM, or until sold out, and the public is welcome.

Suggested donation: $14

Grab your partner and your costume — the HH&A Halloween 2-Gun Team Match is back! 🎃

Join us next Sunday, October 11 for a 2-man team match featuring four stages of r***e and pistol, targets from 5 to 100 yards, and a little extra incentive to fully commit to the Halloween spirit.

👻 Costume bonus: Each teammate can earn a 5-second bonus per stage when both team members shoot the stage in their full approved costumes.

HHA is hosting a CPR/AED/First Aid training session through The Peyton Walker Foundation. Whether you’re renewing your certification or learning these lifesaving skills for the first time, this is a great opportunity to be better prepared when every second counts.
