📚 A New School Year Begins

Today is the first day of school at our partner schools in Fond Parisien, Haiti. 🇭🇹

Years ago, someone helped put me in a classroom and gave me an opportunity to continue my education.

Today, I’m grateful to help create that same opportunity for other children.

Someone opened a door for me. Now, we’re helping open doors for others. ❤️

Penn Ayiti Foundation is sharing the official 2026–2027 academic school calendar issued by Haiti’s Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP).

📌 194 school days
⏰ 864 learning hours for preschool
⏰ 920 hours for Fundamental Education, Grades 1–6
⏰ 1,164 hours for Fundamental Education, Grades 7–9 and secondary education
