The custody paperwork claimed she had “100% sole physical custody.” But the Missouri court said it never issued the order — and the judge said he never signed it, according to a Craighead County affidavit.

Ashley Jordan Davis faces felony forgery and criminal attempt allegations after a school resource officer checked the documents. Bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety, with the judge noting how seriously he takes these allegations.

According to Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, the following individuals were incarcerated The Week of (10/5/2026-10/12/2026).

Amber Baney, 35, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for Failure to Pay Time Pay on Possession of Controlled Substance, Probation and Probation Revocation.

Steven Crow, 46, of Smithville, was arrested for Possession of M**h or Co***ne and Public Intoxication.

Bradley Harris, 34, of Mountain Home, was arrested for Failure to Appear on Driving while Intoxicated-1st Offense.

Alexis Hickman, 35, of Highland, was arrested for Theft of Property =1gms =1gms

Right now, 80 children from Sharp and Independence Counties are in foster care. Through no fault of their own, their worlds have been turned upside down— they need safety, stability, hope, and healing.
