Kia Kima Scout Reservation is located near Hardy, Arkansas in the heart of the Ozark mountains. Kia Kima Scout Reservation is split into two camps: Camp Osage and Camp Cherokee. If your scouts are interested in camping in a larger camp where the program areas are more spread out and delicious food is served in the dining hall then Camp Osage is for them! If your scouts are interested in camping in
a smaller camp where all the program areas are in sight of one another and they have the opportunity to prepare food provided by the commissary in their own site then Camp Cherokee is the best choice! No matter which camp your scouts choose, they will have the opportunity to enjoy full program in each one! The traditional summer camp programs we offer include: Nature, Sports, Climbing, Shooting Sports, Technology, Scoutcraft, Life to Eagle, Trailblazers, Handicrafts, and Waterfront. The high adventure programs offered for older scouts looking for more than just the merit badge experience include: COPE, Mountain Man, Search & Rescue, and our two premier Ozark Venture Base programs: Ozark Ultimate Trek (OUT) and Lake Ouachita Summer Trek (LOST).
