I had my portrait painted by the talented Michelle Zebott because I finished Best in Show at the Cutie Pie Pup Parade. Mom says it looks just like me and that Michelle even caught the essence of my happy personality. Thank you so much Michelle for this wonderful work of art, my family absolutely loves it!

Beagle had a little spa day. Even though he doesn’t enjoy a bath and blow dry, this old man sure does love a truck ride. He also enjoyed his little stroll through Tractor Supply after his bath. Regal Beagle is such a good boy.

Thomas and Joey enjoyed the sunflower seeds in their enrichment toys. Little Tappy, with her new summer shoes, was more interested in seeing what the chickens were doing and then lounging in the hay. I love spending my days with this goofy trio.

Sorry about the late update on Moxy. She’s kept me on my toes. Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts. Moxy is doing great. The doctors believe they got all/most of the mass and everything looked good. They’re sending the mass off to get a histology report and we’ll get that back in a couple of weeks. Moxy has handled the whole thing fantastically. A little too fantastic, she doesn’t believe in the doctor’s orders of taking it easy.

Please keep our resident wild woman, Moxy, in your thoughts today.

During her annual checkup last week, we had a lump on her side tested after it appeared unexpectedly. The results came back showing that the mass is cancerous. While that news was difficult to hear, her doctors believe it was caught very early, which gives us hope.

Today, our sweet Moxy girl is undergoing surgery to remove it. We’ll share an update as soon as we get the call that she’s ready to come home.

As many of you know, Moxy is our little feral girl. Vet visits and unfamiliar situations can be incredibly stressful for her, so this has been a scary experience. Thankfully, she’s surrounded by a wonderful veterinary team, and we know she’s in the best possible hands.

We would appreciate any positive thoughts, prayers, and well wishes for our girl today. ❤️

We took Casper for a hike yesterday and decided to see how little old man Norman would do as an adventure dog. He was carried most of the journey but he enjoyed seeing the sights and even laying down in the mud on the riverbank. He seemed to enjoy his experience but would prefer it not to be on a regular basis, because Norman’s favorite place is the bed with a comfy blanket.
