WHY OZARK PRIDE IS JOINING THIS FUNDRAISER

Ozark Pride is proud to stand with To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) in this important fundraiser because this issue isn’t happening somewhere far away.

It’s happening in our community, too.

There are people right here in the Ozarks who are struggling in silence. People who feel alone. People who are hurting, overwhelmed, or fighting battles that most of us may never see. And sometimes, all someone needs is to know that they are seen, they are loved, and they are not alone.

That is why we’re joining this fundraiser.

At Ozark Pride, we believe every person deserves to feel safe, valued, accepted, and supported. We believe that asking for help should never be something someone has to be ashamed of. And we believe that together, we can help create a community where people know there is hope and that their lives matter.

By supporting TWLOHA, we are helping connect people with hope, help, treatment, and recovery—and we are proud to be part of that mission.

If you can donate, please do.
If you can’t, please share this post.
And if you’re struggling, please know this: you matter. You are loved. You are not alone.

Let’s show our community that we mean it when we say we take care of our own.

👉 Support the Ozark Pride team:

Together, we can spread hope. Together, we can remind someone that tomorrow is worth reaching.

💔🌹 HONORING THE QUEEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC — DOLLY PARTON

Today, the world lost more than a country music legend. We lost a woman whose music, kindness, generosity, humor, and heart touched generations of people.

Dolly Parton — the Queen of Country Music — passed away today at the age of 80 in Nashville, Tennessee.

From Jolene and 9 to 5 to I Will Always Love You, Dolly gave us songs that became part of the soundtrack of our lives. But her legacy reaches far beyond music. She was an actress, songwriter, entrepreneur, philanthropist, advocate, and — most importantly — someone who continually used her success to help others.

Her Imagination Library has helped put millions of books into the hands of children, and her generosity touched countless lives through education, disaster relief, healthcare, literacy, and so many other causes.

Dolly had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged. She reminded us that you could be successful without losing your kindness, that you could be glamorous while remaining humble, and that a little love could go a very long way.

Today, we say goodbye to a true American icon, a Tennessee treasure, and the Queen of Country Music.

Your voice may have gone silent, Dolly, but your songs will never stop playing.
Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Your laughter will never be forgotten.
Your legacy will never fade.

Thank you for the music. Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for showing the world what it means to have a truly generous heart.
Rest peacefully, Dolly. 💕✨

🎶 “And I will always love you…” 🎶

With love and deepest condolences,

OZARK PRIDE SPRING RIVER FLOAT
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

To our Ozark Pride family, friends, supporters, and everyone who joined us on the Spring River — thank you. ❤️

Our Spring River Float was about more than simply spending a day on the water. It was about coming together as a community, making memories, building friendships, and creating a space where everyone could feel welcomed, included, and proud to be themselves.

Now that the float is behind us, we want to take a moment to listen to YOU.

We have created a Participant Feedback Survey specifically for those who attended the event. Your feedback will help us understand what you enjoyed, what we can improve, and — most importantly — what you would like to see Ozark Pride do in the future.

What did you love about the float?
What could we have done better?
What would you like us to change or add next time?
What kinds of events would you like Ozark Pride to offer?
How can we continue making our events better for our community?

We genuinely want to hear the good, the bad, and the ideas you may have that we haven't even thought of yet. Your feedback matters. It helps us grow, learn, and make sure the events we plan are truly serving the people who make Ozark Pride what it is.

If you attended our Spring River Float, please take a few minutes to complete the survey:

Even if you only have a few minutes, your response can make a difference.

Thank you for continuing to support Ozark Pride, Inc., for showing up for our community, and for being part of everything we're building together.

We don't just want to plan events for our community we want to build them WITH our community.

With appreciation,

Ozark Pride, Inc.

Ozark Pride Inc. Welcomes Our New Entertainment Director!

Ozark Pride Inc. is proud to officially welcome Shamori N. Harris, better known to many as Moan-A-Lott, as our new Entertainment Director!

Many in our community already know and love Shamori as Miss Ozark Pride 2025, where she represented our organization with pride, passion, and dedication. With over 10 years of experience in drag entertainment, pageantry, makeup artistry, hairstyling, and event production, Shamori brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, creativity, and leadership to our team.

Throughout the years, Shamori has been a dedicated advocate and ally for the LGBTQIA+ community, including organizing one of the largest benefit drag shows in Central Arkansas. During her reign as Miss Ozark Pride, she helped open new opportunities and build meaningful connections that continue to strengthen our organization today.

Growing up and living in the Bible Belt has given Shamori a unique perspective on bridging communities with compassion, understanding, and respect. She is passionate about creating safe, welcoming, and uplifting entertainment while building relationships that help our community continue to grow.

As Entertainment Director, Shamori will help lead the planning and coordination of performances, recruit talented entertainers, develop exciting new opportunities, and continue elevating the quality of entertainment at Ozark Pride events.

Please join us in giving Shamori "Moan-A-Lott" Harris a warm congratulations as she begins this exciting new chapter with Ozark Pride Inc. We are incredibly excited for what the future holds and can't wait to see the amazing things we'll accomplish together.

Congratulations, Shamori, and welcome to the Ozark Pride Inc. leadership team!
