🚀 ARKANSAS JOINS NATIONAL PUSH TO GROW ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Arkansas is joining the “Reigniting the American Dream” compact, a nationwide initiative aimed at helping more people start businesses, creating jobs and reducing barriers for entrepreneurs.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the move Thursday.

The effort focuses on making entrepreneurship a state priority and creating a “one-stop shop” where entrepreneurs can connect with resources.

Arkansas already has several programs supporting startups and small businesses, including 75Strong, an initiative designed to strengthen entrepreneurial support in all 75 counties.

The state also supports technology startups and investment through programs including ARise and OnwardFX. AEDC says OnwardFX alone has assisted more than 330 startups and facilitated nearly 1,000 one-on-one meetings.

The national compact ultimately aims to increase the number of Americans starting businesses and the jobs and economic growth those companies generate.
