Our four ✨May Spay Stars!✨ Three of the four were trapped with the cat on the top left found to need treatment for allergies as well as having spay surgery. The wide-eyed girl on the bottom had a litter of kittens when our April clinic was happening, so she had to wait a bit before claiming her spot in No More Litters League! Happy life girls!

These felines are now members of the “No Litters League” after being spayed/neutered at CVAC’s low/cost clinic last week. Sometimes the help that an owner needs, is not financial. The “owner” paid the surgery costs for these three females and two males. IRCAD trapped, transported to and from the clinic and provided temperature/environmental aftercare for 48 hours before returning these felines to their “home.” When community entities work together, more can be accomplished.

“Help a Neighbor in Need.” That’s the name of one of our donation campaigns that can be found on our Zeffy funding page. Maybe you don’t know a particular neighbor that you want to help, but would be willing to provide funding for an unknown “neighbor” that could use financial help. Here’s a link to do just that!:

UPDATED 5/19/2926: Help is still needed for these moms and remaining pups.

7 of the 15 puppies have found homes, but there are still 8 more living, breathing, innocent, lives needing their forever homes. Both moms will be spayed tomorrow at the CVAC Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic with both of them also needing loving homes of their own. Please reach out to Ariana if you can provide a home for one of these pups, young or old, providing them with a permanent loving placement to call their own.

We would thank everyone that shared the original post about this situation and again ask for everyones help with sharing this updated post as any exposure may produce more options for loving homes. Kittens AND Mom are safe. “Dave” was contacted and the kittens are safe and will be finding new homes and Mama was our “Spay Star” for the day. Yes….mama was near and had been caring for her babies which is why they were in good shape. When communities work together, good things happen!

Please don’t assume that kittens are abandoned. Their mother does leave them to seek out food and water. Give mom some time to come back. Kittens do best when they are cared for by their mom.

Help the entire family vs. separating the family. With mom in place the kittens can have the best care from their mom, without a dire situation for the kittens and your help finding them homes will be easier for you, knowing the kittens are receiving loving care and life lessons from their mom.
