This generous donor asked to stay out of the limelight, but we can't let their gift go without a thank you! 💛

We recently received another whole cow for our One Cow a Month project, AND this wonderful neighbor covered the processing costs, too!

At a time when meat prices are climbing, and food banks across the country are struggling to keep quality protein available for the families they serve, gifts like this mean SO much.

And there's something especially meaningful about being able to offer locally raised beef, generously donated by people right here in our own community.

One Cow a Month is an ongoing, year-round effort, and we're incredibly grateful that folks continue thinking of Haven House when they have meat to share.

We really can't overstate the impact of that kind of generosity.

To our anonymous donor, THANK YOU! And to everyone who has supported this project by donating livestock, helping with processing, or contributing financially, thank you for continuing to make this possible.

We're awfully lucky to have such wonderful neighbors. 🏡💛

Each year, kids, families, schools, and community groups collect food and donations during Trick or' Treat So Missoula Eats (TOTSME) to stock the shelves at Missoula Food Bank & Community Center.

Helping keep hunger on the run, one spooky season at a time, the food and funds raised through TOTSME support customers throughout the holiday season, when demand for food assistance is often at its highest!

By turning Halloween fun into practical community action, participants help keep nutritious food available across Missoula County. That's some scary good support for local neighbors! University of Montana and Davidson Honors College - The University of Montana - DHC

The holidays are coming, and we know grocery budgets are already stretched pretty thin for a lot of our neighbors, so if you're in Victor, Stevensville, or Florence and could use a little extra help putting food on the table this holiday season, Pantry Partners will have holiday food available on the following dates:

🦃 Thanksgiving Bags:
November 16, 18 & 23

🎄Christmas Boxes:
December 2–16

These are IN ADDITION to your regular monthly food box!
No special sign-up necessary. Just stop by during our regular pantry hours.

We hope this helps take one thing off your plate this holiday season.

You might not always see what happens after you support Haven House, but we do, and we'd love to share a little of that with you. 💛

Those grocery bags you drop off? They get filled with food and carried right back out the door by our neighbors.

Those food donations, whether it's a few extra items from your pantry, a box of donations from a food drive, or a larger community contribution? They help keep our shelves stocked and our doors open to families who need a hand.

Those empty egg cartons? They help us send eggs home with families.

And those monetary gifts? They help us keep responding to the changing needs of our community.

But there's something else happening here, too.

People walk through the doors of a food bank carrying a lot. Some have been coming for a while. Others are walking through those doors for the very first time.

And while we may not know everything they're carrying, we do know that asking for help isn't always easy.

One of the most beautiful things about a community-run food bank is that we all get to take part in lightening the load for our neighbors.

🏅Summer Loan Promo Sets Record! 🏅

Summer Loan results are in, and we are thrilled to share that we donated 1,179 pounds of food to our local food banks! Our Hamilton branch donated 868 pounds, while Florence contributed 311 pounds, making this our most successful year yet.

We are so thankful for the incredible support of our members and extend a special thank-you to Paul & Sirikit for making this achievement possible, especially while navigating staffing challenges.

We’re proud to see our credit union and community come together to support local food banks and make a meaningful difference.

But we can help you start the process! 💛

Whether you're applying for the first time, curious about the process, or just aren't sure where to begin, you can ask for a SNAP assister during your next visit to Haven House.

And if you know someone in Hamilton or Corvallis who could use this information, please share! Sometimes knowing where to start makes all the difference.
