What happens when a passion for Mahjong becomes a mission to build community?
Meet The Mahj Parlour, a Tupelo-based business founded by Nettie Tomlinson and Staci Bevill that is creating a space where friendships flourish, connections are made, and people feel a sense of belonging. Their vision recently earned them 2nd Place in The Pitch 2026, hosted by the Community Development Foundation.
At Renaissance Community Loan Fund, we believe entrepreneurship is about more than starting a business; it's about creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and bringing people together.
We're proud to have supported The Mahj Parlour on their journey and can't wait to see the impact they continue to make while "Making Connections One Tile at a Time."
