“Our September EFC support group will be open to all families, and we are excited to have the Department of Mental Health presenting on Co-regulation and De-escalation. This will be a valuable opportunity for families to learn more about available supports, resources, especially for those caring for children and young adults with complex needs.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this information with your foster parents who may benefit from attending. We want to make sure as many families as possible know about this opportunity and have access to these important resources.

As always, we will provide the foster parent with a training certificate within 2 weeks of the event.”

A very special thank you to Grand Lake Mattress and More for always helping us stay stocked with mattresses, and to Grove Rotary Club for supporting our mission!❤️

Mattresses are such an important part for a child entering custody. Sometimes, a foster home may be willing to take placement but simply doesn’t have an extra bed available.

Our goal is to help remove that barrier. If a home needs a bed, we want to be able to provide one so they can say YES to a child in need and whenever possible help keep that child right here in our county.

We are so grateful for the community partners who help us make this possible!

We’ve had several questions about our $50,000 matching opportunity, so we wanted to answer a few of the most common ones!

✨What is a matching opportunity?

A matching opportunity means that for every dollar you give, our generous donor will match it, up to $50,000! That means if you give $300, they will match your $300! No dollar amount is too small, and every dollar makes a difference!❤️

✨Can Abundant Hope fundraise and have those funds matched?

No. This particular matching opportunity must come from individuals, foundations, businesses, or other outside donors. Funds raised through our own fundraisers cannot be submitted for the match.

✨What is the maximum we can receive?

If we are able to raise the full $50,000, our donor will match it with another $50,000 giving Abundant Hope a total of $100,000!🎉

✨What will Abundant Hope use the funds for?

These funds will help us move into our new building!🏡 There is still work that needs to be completed inside/outside, including building out certain areas and replacing some pieces of the building.

Any additional funding will also help Abundant Hope continue serving our community and supporting the ministry. Abundant Hope operates through grants, fundraisers, and both physical and monetary donations. We typically have to hold around six fundraisers each year to help support the ministry, so this opportunity could make a HUGE difference!❤️

A New Facility. A New Chapter. A Bigger Opportunity!

In the picture below, you’ll see our new facility and we couldn’t be more excited about what this building will mean for Abundant Hope!

First, we want to give a HUGE thank you to Church on the Hill of Grove for taking care of the front of the building. Isn’t it beautiful?! 😍 We are so grateful for your generosity and support!

NOW comes the exciting part and the part where we need YOU! In order for us to move into this new facility, we will need grants and funding to help make it possible.

As you saw in yesterday’s post, we currently have an incredible matching opportunity! Every dollar raised will be matched, up to the amount announced yesterday. That means your donation can go TWICE as far toward helping us make this new facility a reality! We need to move into this new facility due to the growth of the ministry!

But we can’t do this alone!
