Meet Petunia!🐷

Petunia is on a mission to collect change for Hope!

Our goal is to raise $10,000, and we need your help to make it happen. We have 20 little piggy banks that will soon be placed at local businesses throughout town, ready to start collecting spare change for a great cause.

Beginning next week, these little pigs will be reporting to their new "workplaces" and helping raise funds to support our ministry and its mission. Every penny, nickel, dime, quarter and bills makes a difference!

When you see Petunia and her friends around town, consider dropping in your spare change. Together, we can turn small acts of generosity into a big impact.

Every penny collected goes directly toward supporting the ministry and helping us continue our mission.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping us reach our goal of $10,000!🩷🩵

• If you are interested in having one of Petunia‘s friends for your business, send us a message!

“God made a foster parent to love a child in their time of need. To pick up the pieces, dry the tears, and help heal the scars and to love a child wholeheartedly during the time they have been entrusted to their care.

God made a foster parent to be a bridge between families, helping them navigate difficult seasons and work toward wholeness again. He made a foster parent to offer stability in uncertain times and hope when hope feels far away.

God made a foster parent to be prepared for whatever comes their way. To advocate fiercely for what is best for a child, to listen, to encourage, and to stand in the gap when a child needs someone most.

God made a foster parent to reflect His love through patience, compassion, and sacrifice. He equipped foster parents to help carry the burdens a child should never have to bear alone, so that a child can simply be a child.”

So God made a foster parent❤️

As of June 1, Delaware County has 55 children in care. 22 are placed with foster families, and 17 are in kinship. The reality is that we do not have nearly enough foster homes to meet the needs of the children in our community.

If you have ever considered becoming a foster parent, we would love the opportunity to talk with you. There has never been a better time to make a difference not only in the life of a child and their family, but in your community as well. Every child deserves a safe, supportive place. Could you be that difference for a child in need?
