🌈 Calling all LGBT+ and ally businesses across the Upstate! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
Upstate Pride SC is looking for local partners to collaborate on events held on location over the coming months. Breweries, cafés, bookstores, studios, shops, venues, galleries, restaurants, and more are all welcome.

We especially want to grow our presence beyond Greenville and bring Pride to every corner of the Upstate, so businesses in any of our 10 counties are encouraged to reach out.

What a partnership can look like:
• Hosting a Pride event, mixer, or fundraiser at your space
• Co-promoting events to our community
• Sponsorship or in-kind support

Upstate Pride SC is looking for marketing committee members! 🌈

Our community is full of creative talent, and we want to bring that creativity into Upstate Pride’s marketing. If you can help us create thoughtful, original graphics that reflect who we are and the people we serve, we’d love to have you on our team.

We’re seeking creative volunteers with skills in graphic design, social media, content creation, and marketing strategy. Bring your ideas, be open to direction and feedback, and have the capacity to deliver quality work within a reasonable timeframe.

We welcome multiple volunteers so we can share the workload and build a strong, collaborative team. If you own a marketing company with proven results, there is also room to discuss compensation for clearly defined services.

The November 3 election is coming up. Save these South Carolina dates and make your plan to vote:

📌 October 4: Deadline to register online
🗳️ October 19–31: Early voting, Monday through Saturday
⭐ November 3: Election Day

Check your registration, find an early voting location in your county, and review your sample ballot at scVOTES.gov. Bring your photo ID when you vote, and share this with someone who could use a reminder.

Every eligible voter deserves the chance to be heard. 💙

A damn good time is even better with community, so we’re inviting y’all OUT for a laugh!

Join Upstate Pride SC for an evening of comedy, connection, and LGBTQ+ joy at Alchemy Theater, down the steps below Coffee Underground. Our lineup features LGBTQ+ comics and one fierce ally ready to bring the laughs!

We need your help Proud Mary Theatre family!

We learned yesterday that Proud Mary Theatre Company was not awarded grant funding from the South Carolina Arts Commission for the upcoming funding cycle.

While we’re certainly disappointed, we’re not giving up. Proud Mary exists because of the incredible community that believes in the power of LGBTQIA+ stories, live theatre, and the importance of creating spaces where everyone can see themselves represented on stage. 🏳️‍🌈🎭

This funding was an important part of helping us continue producing great art, telling meaningful stories, supporting local artists, and bringing our community together. Now, we’re looking for new ways to replace that lost funding and keep Proud Mary moving forward.

We have an exciting anniversary season ahead, and we want to keep the curtain rising. ❤️
