The Phoenix Center has created a presentation designed for parents and caregivers to learn more about the current youth substance use landscape, what is trending, legal, common, as well as information on how to keep kids safe and have open, honest conversations. They will talk about why youth are more susceptible to substance use disorders, brain development, why you should care, and what you can do!

‼Happy back-to-school‼

Pictured here are the 37 filled bookbags that our amazing community partners and members adopted for our back-to-school bookbag drive. We were so thankful and amazed by how quickly our community showed up to make a positive impact in the lives of students this school year. Thank you so much to everyone who donated ❤

The Family Effect would like to give a big thank you to Elevation Church - Greenville. As part of their Love Week, they brought in goodies to Phoenix Center staff, washed the buses at Serenity Place and hosted a paint night for the children at Circle of Friends. We are so incredibly grateful for this amazing group and their very evident hearts for the community. Thank you!

We've identified some incredible kids in our client community who need a little extra boost this year. That's where YOU come in! We are looking for amazing sponsors to "adopt" a student and fill a bookbag with all the essentials they need to have a successful school year. 🏫
It's simple, it's fun, and you are making a difference to each student and their family!
