DEATH INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY AFTER COUPLE FOUND SHOT TO DEATH IN GREENVILLE

Deputies are on scene at 12 Elmwood Ave in reference to a death investigation.

Deputies arrived on scene and located one deceased adult male and one deceased adult female victim. Both victims appear to have suffered from at least one gunshot wound.

There is no suspect information at this time.

ON AUGUST 15th, 2015 PHILLIP GAMBLE LEFT HIS MOTHER'S RESIDENCE AT 709 CIRCLE ROAD GREER, S.C. . MR GAMBLE WAS RIDING A MOUNTAIN BICYCLE TO THE SPINX CONVENIENCE STORE IN THE FIVE FORKS AREA OF GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. MR. GAMBLE NEVER RETURNED. INVESTIGATORS NEED HELP FROM ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE INFORMATION REGARDING MR. GAMBLES DISAPPEARANCE.

HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: On March 2, 1995, Ms Kim McCreary was found murdered at a vacant lot on St Francis Dr and Mauldin Street near St Francis Hospital.

***SHOOTING INVESTIGATION***

Investigators with the GCSO are investigating a shooting that occurred at 50 Church street after Greenville County communications received a 911 call around 9:30 p.m. regarding a male victim who was shot at least once following a verbal altercation with two male suspects.

GCSO Deputies arrived on scene and located the victim and transported him to the hospital where he is expected to recover from his injuries. An active search is underway for the suspects involved.

This is an isolated incident. Investigators request that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.

On the evening of Saturday, May 13, 2017 approximately 100-150 young people showed up at the Pavilion on East North Street in Taylors, SC. They were sitting in vehicles and standing in groups talking and listening to music. At midnight, the lights at the tennis courts cycled off and gunshots rang out. When the shooting stopped, Makiya Hawkins was lying on the asphalt with a gunshot wound to her person. After being transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital emergency room, Hawkins gave way to her injury and died.
