🗳️It's a question on everyone's mind. And it's not an idle one or an existential discussion. It's about as real as it gets. Since he took office in January 2026, President Trump has been systematically dismantling the federal government's mechanisms that protect our elections - and our country - from cyberattacks, foreign interference and hacking, and so much more.

📍But standing in the breach in Greenville County is interim Election Director Patty Roach with her team. At the September meeting, she’ll address the threat landscape and talk about the mechanisms - human and technical - in place to ensure your vote is accurately counted.

💙DWGC Selects A Place of Hope is this month’s 50/50 recipient. An affiliate of United Ministries, A Place of Hope offers day shelter services in a safe and welcoming environment for people experiencing homelessness. Services include access to showers, laundry, storage, mail, device charging, and basic supplies.

Canvassing is the where the rubber hits the road for elections. Talking F2F to voters is the most productive thing we can do to help our candidates.

But so many aren't comfortable doing it. We can help you with that. Join us for canvassing training on Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. @ Project Host. Councillor Dorothy Dowe will lead us, and we'll do role playing sessions as well. The following day, we will get together to do a real canvass with experienced partners.
