Our mission is to provide support and education for anyone interested in the art of wood carving. The club host weekly carve-ins and a monthly meeting. Our annual “show and competition” is normally held in the fall each year. We are a not-for-profit corporation chartered in South Carolina and registered with the IRS.

PWCC AT THE MILL……..This Saturday June 20th we will be at the Haygood Mill historic site in Pickens for an all day festival. Some of our members will be carving and displaying a great many beautiful finished carvings. Food, music, and wood carving, you can’t beat that. Come on out and join us, won’t you.

DONT FORGET! Tomorrow (Saturday) is the PWCC big monthly meeting. We kick things off at 2 PM at the Mauldin Cultural Center. As usual, we have food, fun, and door prices. Be sure and bring a finished project for our show and tell table. Our program this month is a presentation of a history and diversity of the Swiss Army knife. Come join us and bring a friend.

BIG WEEK AT PWCC!
We start the week off on Tuesday at 3:00 at Woodcraft in Greenville. Our mid week event is at Mauldin Cultural Center starting at 12:30. The Pickens area group will get together starting at 4:00 at the Holly Springs Center. We end our week with our big monthly gathering on Saturday June 12th at the Mauldin Cultural Center starting at 2:00 pm. This month our program will consist of a presentation on the history, and variety of Swiss Army Knives presented by member, Steve Bailey. ITS GOING TO BE A BIG WEEK FOLKS! What’s on tap for PWCC members this week. We will be carving and socializing on Tuesday at 3:00 at Woodcraft, then Wednesday at 12:30 at Mauldin Cultural Center, and finally, Thursday at 4:00 at Holly Springs Center in Pickens. As always visitors are very welcome. Come join the fun!
