The Board of Directors is pleased to announce Sherry Wacasey Holland as the new Executive Director of Hunt County Shared Ministries beginning June 1.
Sherry is not new to HCSM. She previously worked alongside longtime Executive Director Wally Jeffers and has continued supporting the organization during this season of transition. She brings decades of nonprofit leadership and management experience, along with a strong passion for serving others and building community partnerships.
Sherry understands both the mission of HCSM and the growing needs throughout Hunt County. As we continue moving forward, her leadership will help strengthen our foundation, expand our capacity to serve, and continue building relationships throughout the community.
The Board is grateful to Adam Beene for his years of faithful service to HCSM and for his leadership during this season of transition. We appreciate the care and dedication he has shown to our volunteers, partners, and neighbors over the years.
The Board remains deeply thankful for the vision and leadership of Wally Jeffers and the lasting legacy of founder Bill Hunt. Their commitment to serving Hunt County families helped shape Hunt County Shared Ministries into what it is today, and the Board looks forward to expanding the mission under Sherry’s leadership.
As we move forward, the focus remains the same, serving Hunt County families, strengthening partnerships, and continuing the work of feeding hope and sharing love throughout our community.
