YOU are needed!

Back to school is right around the corner, and kids in Hunt County are in need of school supplies. There is an understandable added trauma when a child is removed for abuse/neglect and some are facing brand new schools, with unfamiliar faces, & a whole added layer to an already scary time in their lives. We as a community can come together & at bare minimum help them feel ready for the first day of school!

It doesn’t take much!
Some supplies are less than a dollar.

Please help us ensure that every child who is placed in the system in Hunt County has a fresh & prepared start on the first day of school!

🎒✨ A big thank you to our generous community donors for helping the Hunt County Child Welfare Board provide school supplies for children in foster care as they head into the new school year!

We are so grateful to CASA for storing the supplies and coordinating delivery to ensure they reach the kids who need them most. 💙

Thank you also to Empower and the Department of Family and Protective Services for jumping in to help pack everything—your teamwork made this possible.

It truly takes a village, and we’re proud to be part of one that shows up for these kids time and time again. 💛
