Sisterhood - Sister Warriors - Women Veterans Day, also referred to as Women Veterans Recognition Day and Women Veterans Appreciation Day, is observed on June 12th, a date chosen to mark the anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act.

Even though women have been serving since the Revolutionary War, President Harry S. Truman on June 12, 1948, signed into law the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act.

Twin Rotors Mission®️is a veteran founded nonprofit, begun by a woman veteran. When I served in our military, I fully believed in team work - Doing whatever was necessary to get the job done. I LOVE recognizing our Women Veterans…. These are just a few who stand beside each other. No one can discount the fact that women faced and continue to face unique challenges when it comes to our Armed Forces. We are stronger and far more unified when we work together. I will proudly share I worked with the finest men and women of our time! ARMY PROUD! -M 🇺🇸

It’s an honor!

We’re proud to celebrate Army Veteran Paula Morgan, a recent graduate of our Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap (CLER) program. Paula was recently featured in The Local Letter for her incredible work supporting veterans, first responders, and families in Hunt County, Texas.

Through her organization, Twin Rotors Mission, Paula is dedicated to helping “warriors” — a term she uses intentionally to include veterans, active military, first responders, and the families who serve alongside them — build healthier, more connected lives. Through programs focused on wellness, peer support, equine-assisted activities, coaching, and community connection, the organization helps individuals overcome isolation and thrive beyond service.

We’re honored to have Paula in our community of inspirational leaders.

🌹🌹🌹A Rose Garden for Mom🌹🌹🌹
*Inspired by a true events

A child watches her mother shed silent tears over the loss of an infant child… unexplainable. This same child sees her mother battered and bruised by her father… unthinkable.

Mother was broken by that which was gone, overlooking what was before her very eyes. Eventually this child who longed to find purpose in the pain went off to serve in the military.

As years went by the pain of watching
Mother’s Day come and go changed to finding purpose in Mother’s Day. Knowing their mother’s favorite flower was a rose, over several years, the young adult child sent a rose bush to honor and cherish their mother.

The adult child eventually went on to become a wife, and a mother. Often referred to as a second mom, (Mi Madre Uno Dos), an adopted mom… Mother took on a whole new meaning and purpose in life.

*Today we honor our military moms who are making sacrifices every day for their families.
*We honor veteran moms… often struggling with hidden wounds.

*We honor Gold Star moms… those who lost their children in war.
*We honor Green Star moms… those who lost their children to su***de.

*We honor first responder moms…. Those who chose to answer the call…

We pray you have a blessed Mother Day, Full of Cherished Memories which fill your heart with Joy and Peace 🌹💕

Twin Rotors Mission®️is joining the Carry the Load effort in Hunt County to honor our military, first responders and their families.

Unlike past years… For safety concerns, the effort is being conducted differently this year, where all activities will take place at Graham Park in Greenville, TX from 10am to 2pm.

We are inviting our community to join us, and several other civic groups, clubs, fire departments, etc. to make this the best possible event! Please help spread the word and look for updates about event details at the City of Greenville!
