Makayla L. Stanton has been named the recipient of the Ross Washington Carver Foundation's 2026-2027 scholarship. As a senior at Greenville High School, Makayla intends to pursue higher education at East Texas University in Commerce, Texas, with a focus on Business Administration. She is the daughter of Kenya Beachum and Brandon Stanton. Congratulations to Makayla on this accomplishment!

The Ross Washington Carver Foundation is pleased to announce Makayla L. Stanton as the recipient of its 2026-2027 scholarship. Makayla Stanton, a senior at Greenville High School, plans to attend East Texas University in Commerce, Texas, where she will pursue a degree in Business Administration. Her parents are Kenya Beachum and Brandon Stanton. Congratulations to Makayla!

All RWC Foundation Scholarship applications must be mailed and postmarked by Monday, March 2, 2026. Applications are available through any school Counselor’s Office in Hunt County.

RWC Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for Hunt County, Texas high school seniors for the 2025-2026 school year.

Applications are available in counselors’ offices in Hunt County high schools, effective Monday, September 9, 2025.

Applications must be received by Monday, March 2, 2026, by 5 p.m. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Qualifications:
Overall GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 system.
Must be classified as a senior in a Hunt County, Texas high school.
Must be a resident of Hunt County, Texas.
