There are some very basic necessities that families receiving SNAP cannot purchase with their benefits.

Things we often take for granted can become a real burden for a family who is already struggling to make ends meet.

SNAP does not cover things like:

🧴 Shampoo & conditioner
🧼 Body wash & soap
🧴 Deodorant
🪥 Toothbrushes & toothpaste
🧴 Lotion & face wash
🪒 Razors & shaving cream
💇‍♀️ Hairbrushes & combs
🩷 Feminine hygiene products
👶 Diapers & pull-ups
🧻 Wipes

These aren’t luxuries. They’re necessities.

We have an opportunity to come alongside a community in need and provide some of these simple, everyday essentials that can make a much bigger difference than we realize.

We have the privilege of hosting a Back to School Bash this weekend and we are so excited! We have some kids that are in need of back packs and school supplies. We would love for you to pick a child off of our list and help make their back to school experience special.

After gathering together this past weekend, we have been given a list of more kiddos in the community who are in need of backpacks that we are hoping to bless!!! In Texas alone, over 1,000 young adults age out of foster care annually. Many enter adulthood without the family support, resources, or safety net that others rely on—placing them at greater risk for homelessness, unemployment, and financial instability.
At Qavah the Storehouse, we believe every young adult deserves opportunity, support, and hope for the future.
