Keep Greene Beautiful, in partnership with Broyles General Store & Emporium, is proud to announce our June 2026 Yard of the Month Winner, Debbie Knickerbocker of Erwin Highway.

From the stately columns of her home to the thoughtfully designed gardens that surround it, Debbie's property captured the attention of our judges. They described her landscape as feeling like an English garden and a peaceful oasis where anyone would want to sit, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The yard consists of colorful flowers, lush greenery, charming garden accents, and inviting spaces that create a sense of tranquility.

📚 Story Time with a Purpose
Invite us to read age-appropriate books about litter prevention, recycling, and caring for our environment.

🎲 Interactive Litter & Recycling Games
Students learn best by doing! Our fun, educational games teach the importance of proper waste disposal, recycling, and community stewardship.

🎨 Trash Art Competitions
Held twice each year, these creative contests encourage students to transform everyday "trash" into amazing works of art while learning about reuse and recycling.

🏕️ 5th Grade Conservation Camp
Each September, 5th graders have the opportunity to experience nature, conservation, environmental education, and outdoor learning through this exciting annual camp.

💚 Together, we can inspire the next generation to keep Greene County clean, green, and beautiful!
