Middle Nolichucky Watershed Alliance Non-profit organization (2000-2024) out of Greene County, TN working to preserve the Middle Nolichucky River Watershed.

The Middle Nolichucky Watershed Alliance was established as a non-profit corporation on August 2, 2001 as a means to protect the Nolichucky River and Watershed. For 24 years, the Middle Nolichucky Watershed Alliance has protected the waters, land, and people of Greene County through on-the-ground projects, educational opportunities, and economic development. Sadly, the organization is unable to co

ntinue and will be dissolved by the end of 2024. Please refer to the pinned post on our page for information on similar groups to get involved with.

MNWA has been officially dissolved, and the website will no longer be available. This page will remain for historical purposes and to guide you to additional resources. Thank you to all our shareholders that have desired to protect the Middle Nolichucky Watershed for the past 24 years. This community means the world to us.

Please reach out to a similar organization such as Little River Watershed Association (Knoxville, TN) with inquires about how to protect and enjoy your local watershed.

On September 26, MNWA members met at the completed Dogwood Park Educational Wetland. Stop by and see this beautiful wetland area right behind Tusculum View Elementary School.
