The Oliver Tree Parrot Rescue We are a 501c3 non-profit parrot rescue located in NE Florida.

We focus on the parrots and their well-being, providing an enriching environment, daily interaction, and proper nutrition to prepare them for future success in their new, loving homes.

Meet our handsome 10-year-old Meyer’s Parrot—a little guy with a BIG love for the good life! 💚

Once he’s out of his cage, he’s all about being sweet and spending time with his people. His favorite place? Your shoulder! 🥰 He loves a good shoulder ride and being part of whatever you’re doing.

And when it’s time to wind down, he’s ready for a movie night! 🎬🍿 Put on a good movie, grab the popcorn, and this guy is perfectly happy hanging out with you. (Although we’re pretty sure he thinks the popcorn is the main event! 😂)

Now, when it comes to his cage… that’s HIS home. 🏠🦜 He absolutely loves his space and feels comfortable and secure there. So don’t be surprised if he’s not thrilled about being asked to leave his castle every time you walk by! 😂

He’s looking for someone who will respect his boundaries, give him time to build trust, and appreciate all the sweetness he has to offer.

If you’re looking for a feathered companion who enjoys shoulder rides, movie nights, popcorn, and having a home he can proudly call his own, he might just be your guy! 💚

Meet this gorgeous 4-year-old Severe Macaw who is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy! 🌶️💕 She may keep you on your toes, but once she decides you’re her person, you’ll see just how much personality this girl has to offer!

🎩 She has a few tricks up her sleeve!
😂 She’s full of personality and knows how to keep things interesting!
💕 And underneath that spicy side is a sweet girl who is looking for someone willing to earn her trust and build a lifelong relationship.

Severe Macaws are smart, playful, social, and full of BIG personalities—and this girl is no exception! She’s looking for an adopter who understands that parrots aren’t instant-gratification pets. Building trust takes time, patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love. 🥰

Meet Mako, our sweet-but-spicy Senegal parrot who is basically a Sour Patch Kid with feathers! 🌶️🤣

Mako may take a little time to fully warm up to his people, but once he trusts you, you’ll see the loving boy underneath that spicy personality. And if he wants some attention, he’ll make sure you know it by demanding “tickle tickle!” 😂💚

Like many Senegals, Mako needs someone who understands that building trust takes time, patience, and consistency. But earn his heart, and you’ll have a pretty special little guy on your hands. 🥰🦜

🦜 We’re looking for more Bornavirus positive homes!

We are one of the few facilities in Florida that accepts dozens of birds who test positive for Avian Bornavirus (ABV) each year. Because of this, we have some absolutely amazing, pet-friendly ABV positive birds who would love the opportunity to find experienced, knowledgeable homes. ❤️

If you already have a Bornavirus positive household/flock, have experience caring for ABV positive birds, and can provide veterinary references, we would love to hear from you!

Many of these birds are incredibly social, loving companions they simply need homes that understand their ABV status and are prepared to provide appropriate lifelong care.

Please reach out to us if you may be able to provide a home for one of our ABV positive birds. 🦜❤️
