MTOA February Wednesday Webinar Registration Reopens!
Capacity for the February 1, 2023 Webinar Wednesday Zoom event has been expanded and registration has been reopened!
The first of our 2023 series will be held on February 1, 2023 at 7:00 pm EST and will last about an hour.
Cruising the Chesapeake will feature speaker MTOA member Michael Dodd who has spent his lifetime on the Chesapeake Bay and has authored the book “Chesapeake Bay Odyssey, 23 Ports of Call with Historic Perspectives.”
This webinar should be especially interesting to members who are contemplating visiting the area, including those that are planning to attend the 2023 National Rendezvous September 7-11 in Pasadena, Maryland.
The event will also feature an opportunity to meet several of our Chesapeake Bay Port Captains.

These free webinars will be provided quarterly as an exclusive benefit to MTOA members on subjects of interest to our boating community. The webinars will be broadcast via Zoom and they will be announced in advance with time for members to RSVP. Members who register will be sent the ‘log on’ credentials to participate in the session along with any relevant handouts.
Information for connecting to the Zoom event will be sent to registrants on the day of the the event.

Michael Dodd grew up in the Baltimore suburbs when it was a quiet Southern city. His father, Bill, loved boating and passed on the tradition.
Michael has fond childhood recollections of spending a week on a 38 ft Chris Craft charter boat and exploring the sights and sounds of the Chesapeake Bay. He has owned about 15 boats during his lifetime, including run-abouts, sailing yachts and currently a 1984, 61 ft Hatteras Motor yacht. He never met a boat he did not like!
Michael decided to get a Coast Guard commercial captain's license so he could take people out on charter. He maintains a 50 ton license.
