Girls on the Run of Northeast Wisconsin We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running and movement.

We offer programs for girls in grades 3-5 & 6-8 across 9 counties of northeast Wisconsin. Our programs are available across the following counties of northeast Wisconsin: Brown, Calumet, Manitowoc, Outagamie, Sheboygan, Waupaca, and Winnebago. Our programs are available for girls and non-binary youth in grades 3-5 and 6-8.

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth — a day to honor freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice for Black communities across the country. It’s a time to reflect, celebrate the impact of Black Americans, and recognize the strength that comes from unity. At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity and support to reach her full potential. We’re dedicated to building spaces where joy, connection, and community can grow for girls from all backgrounds. We’re proud to celebrate Pride! Join us as we honor the joy and courage of LGBTQ+ communities and reaffirm our commitment to belonging. One of the most meaningful parts of the Girls on the Run season is our Community Impact Project. This is a special opportunity for the girls to identify a need in their community and work together to make a difference in a cause they care about. 💗

One site decided to support Project Angel Hugs, whose mission is “Bringing Joy to Children Touched by Cancer.” The girls created handmade bracelets and uplifting posters for children and families, spreading encouragement and positivity through every thoughtful detail. 💜

Another GOTR site visited the Humane Society, where they made treats for the animals and learned more about caring for and supporting furry friends in our community. 🐾

We are so proud of these girls for using their voices, kindness, and teamwork to create meaningful impact in the communities around them. ✨
